Blimey, I missed the fun last night, obviously! Beanie I hope you had a happy birthday - belated best wishes from me xxx

Today I had no need to get up - no need to set an alarm, for the first time in MONTHS! So, of course, what time do I wake.....5.30. Tried to get back to sleep but to no avail. So have decided to get up, and once have had coffee, will do 2 hours a la Mrs R.....hopefully then to give me a reason NOT to do any more housework for the next couple of days, although I will be doing some painting later on today.

Washing machine is already on.....I've made a start.

Hope you all have a good day xx

So.....have made a reasonable start to the mad housework 2 hours, but am finding I have rather too much time "assessing the situation" ie thinking, what do I do first?!

Just scoffing some porridge, and having another coffee, then will carry on....

  • See I don't come on for 24 hours and you've discussed Macaroni cheese, Jackie Collins, stuffing mushrooms (I love stuffed mushrooms...) and 'skiddies on the u bend'. The world doesn't know what it's missing. Forget all those reality shows this is where the truth is revealed.

Am all ready for a busy weekend myself Hypno, have tight grip on the purse strings and am ready for September...

I resisted Shred. I will resist the housework. I am strong. I can do this :)

Well still never stredded but I did the "Mrs R 2hr workout" yesterday and I am well chuffed!

(H - I tried to make myself 'do' one room at a time - and then dusted and vacuumed the whole place. Took quite a while to put stuff away!!!)

The 2 hour thing really needs a sort of reasonable level to start with - have just spent 2 hours doing the kitchen:o! Once I'm up to speed hopefully it'll all be a breeze but suddenly the idea of going out for a 10K run seems like a lovely rest:D.

Flylady of course Hypno and its 15 mins that counts. See I'm really good at theory.

I think I'm going to have to stop reading this thread... I didn't think it could get more scarey than the shred talk but now we have the amazing Mrs R GULP!!!

I've not stopped shaking since she posted her list. Gally Girl shall we hold hands and sing strenthening songs to strengthen our resolve?
