Happy new diary Hypno. Well done on the clothing and exercise front. I love Wallis stuff not very familiar with White Stuff but the tunic looks lovely.

I'm on holiday this week and have stuff planned for odd days but I'm so exhausted after the last couple of weeks that I just want to sleep and feel too guilty to do it because there is so much needs doing. I'm trying to convince myself that I will feel much better after resting and if I had gone away I would be laying by a pool resting as that is the whole idea of holidays.

Angela, definitely! Get rested first - if you do too much when you're exhausted, you just go further down, and end up getting ill. Rest now, do later! (thats me in Yoda moodd.....) :)

So, life in the hypno household is returning to normal.

What do I mean by "normal".......well, this afternoon I got a phone call asking if I could have a student for a couple of weeks in July.

So I said that as long as it fits in with my holiday, then yes.

Then they rang back and asked if I could have two.

Now, given that I no longer have a "spare room" as it is now an office, and I gave the two single beds that were previously in the spare room to OH for the children to stay, so now we have no spare beds here.......of course I said yes!

And then he asked if I could take another one for three weeks in August. By this time, I was saying "yes of course" before he had even finished his question!

So, now......before the first two (an Italian girl and a Polish girl) arrive on Sunday, I have to dismantle my double bed and store it, go to my mums and dismantle her two spare single beds that she uses when my children stay at hers.....put said single beds up in my room which will now become the "guest room" - and they can use my bathroom .....

.....and I will have a fold out chair thing in the office.......

So, a massive tidy and sort out required this week, and I must put the blind back up in the office which was taken down when the new windows were put in. My freezer is almost empty, so I need to do a menu plan for the next two weeks to incorporate the extra bodies, and then to do a big shop, as the English school have all sorts of "minimum requirements" for food and drink for their "guests" that are way above what I normally feed my lot :o

But it should be worth it - especially if I get another one or two in the course of August.

The money will be put aside to help pay for skiing - we still haven't booked anything for Christmas because I've not had the cash to do so, so hopefully a few weeks of students will go a long way towards getting away.

Oh the things we do :rotfl:
