hi hypno, glad you and yours have had a good holiday! all your MSE holiday-ness has well and truly inspired me (I don't have little/not so little ones but all the same!)
just a note to those of you thinking of shredding - I have to be careful with high impact stuff too (got pins and plates and screws in my right ankle) but I find it's fine.
The worst bit for me is the skipping (sorry, Jump Rope!), if I am struggling I just step from foot to foot. I do either bare feet (OK sometimes) or trainers (rest of time) on carpet and don't find it gives me any niggles/problems with my ankle afterwards.
take it steady to start with by all means, but don't be put off as I think there really is something there for everyone
right everyone, as you were, back to the sofa and biccies0 -
Yep, I'm lolling on this sofa. Who's eaten all the biccis?

Ditto, I've broken a nail :rotfl:
Bad news on the knees though - my problem is found in women over the age of 45, not just athletic teenagers. I think I fit the former much better than the latter

I have plantar fasciitis, takes months to ease, apparently you have to rest a lot and only jaffa cakes can aid recovery, something to do with the orangey bit. Honest I read it on the internet.DC.

Ooh thank you.
That girl at the back of the room doing the Shred has gone a funny colour, do you think she's still breathing?0 -
No shredding done here - and not enough work being produced either.
OH has been over this evening and we have done a lot of sorting in the garage, my car is full for a trip to the tip tomorrow, his car is full of my Dad's stuff that is being passed on to the appropriate people, and both wheelie bins are about to burst!
So, progress must have been made, although there is still a long way to go.
Now, I must must must do some writing otherwise tomorrow will be a waste of time and that will be rather embarrassingSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
