Hypno's reminder that she is doing ok, actually!

just a note to those of you thinking of shredding - I have to be careful with high impact stuff too (got pins and plates and screws in my right ankle) but I find it's fine.
The worst bit for me is the skipping (sorry, Jump Rope!), if I am struggling I just step from foot to foot. I do either bare feet (OK sometimes) or trainers (rest of time) on carpet and don't find it gives me any niggles/problems with my ankle afterwards.
take it steady to start with by all means, but don't be put off as I think there really is something there for everyone
right everyone, as you were, back to the sofa and biccies
Oh littleh why o why did you have to say this??! :rotfl::rotfl:
I no longer have my metalwork in my ankle but suppose if you can do it, then I should try to as well.....actually I did go into my local Blockbu$ters at lunchtime to see if they had it for me to borrow (walked out with 5 great films for £5 instead for the week :T).0 -
Ooh thank you.
That girl at the back of the room doing the Shred has gone a funny colour, do you think she's still breathing?

I accept full responsibility for Shred being mentioned on Payment A Day thread!!
I ordered it the other week and have only just got round to doing it.
Oh My God!!!
I think I am going to die!!
Half way through I am screaming ' aah my thighs, my thighs...'
DH thought the neighbours might wonder what we were doing :rotfl:
DH is supposed to be doing Shred with me but was too poorlybut managed to try and tell me the right way to do things.
Thanks Hypno for Shred, I can see myself in a size 8 - 10 before too long :T

I am loving the "shred effect"
Do you reckon I could do a script on it......might be more productive than the stuff I am trying to write so farSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
*arrives with popcorn, toffee covered popcorn - budge up on the sofa won't you*
Hypno so glad you are back and that you had fun happy writing you flipping marvel!
xxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Hypno - maybe you could do a script to fool us that we've been doing Shred, similar to the hypnotherapist who convinces people they've had a gastric band?!? Jillian might want to throttle you but you'd make a bomb0

Could you not just print out all our talking about it - like right from someone mentioning it to you, you mentioning it to someone else, then doing it, then all of us tentatively creeping about and confessing we had it, and cajoling each other and not wanting to feel left out, and the Radical folk sat on the sofa with the biscuits?? :rotfl:
What are these scripts you're doing? How long do they have to be?
(Ah, just had a revelation - perhaps they're related to your actual username, which I never before thought of as anything to do with anything.........):rotfl::o:rotfl:
I was thinking more of a cheery radio show! :rotfl::o:rotfl::o
I'm glad you had a day off Shred Hypno anyway, because I did Day 6 today, but I really can't see how I'm going to fit Day 7 in tomorrow - I leave the house at 6.40am, get back at 7pm, leave again at 7.20pm, and get back in at 9, having done a full day's work, spent 2 hours on the train, an hour at a self help group, and cycling 10 miles
(maybe I could get all the commuters doing it in the vestibule of the train??? :rotfl:)
(or maybe I'll just have a day off and do Day 7 on Wednesday, that's probably sensible!)0 -

You were right with the other thought! They are guided visualisation scripts that I record for a website. They are of varying length depending on the subject, and over the years I have done quite a few, but I need to keep producing new stuff, and sometimes I find it difficult to just write a script - I find it much easier with a real client as it is much more natural work, if that makes sense!
So, writers block is a frequent problem. But I have 2 days of recording to do, and by hook or by crook I will get myself enough stuff down on paper so that I am not wasting the recording studio's time!
I've just finished another script, so that is 4 done......will head to bed now, and get up early to do some more in the morning.....
