:rotfl: you lot! Shred is nearly achieving world domination - when's Hypno back, does she realise what she's started?? :rotfl: I *think* it gets easier - I did day 5 today and it was certainly easier than the first 3!

Blimey, I nearly didn't recognise you all - you are all so lithe and fit :j

So, obv am back from hols.....had a fantastic week, but exhausting! We did Chessington on Monday, then Thorpe Park on Tuesday......amazingly the queues there were minimal so we got on all the rides at least once. Wednesday was our fatal day - we went to Bicester Shopping Village. Sadly, there was no envelope marked "Hobbs Outlet Store" so the CC bravely stepped in, on the proviso that the spends did not exceed the student money due this month.....but it is amazing how much you can buy when it is 80% off......and I did buy everything in a size 10 :D:D:D:D

Thurs we went to Warwick Castle, which was really nice, and a bit more relaxed than the previous three days, then went to that grown up attraction known as IKEA :o Only £25 spent there though, so I consider that to be a success.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday were spent at Alton Towers. We had my autistic friend with us and so qualified for disabled + carer passes (he is very autistic and needs routine and specific times for things etc, so long queues are not great if panic is to be avoided) which meant that we got to jump all the queues, therefore went on all rides numerous times, rather than just being able to do a few due to the queuing times. So, that was fab, but even more exhausting as we constantly seemed to dash from one ride to another!

All in all, a great week, pretty good moneywise, apart from the shopping village, but that will be covered by the student money, and I believe that my capsule wardrobe is now complete.

I have eaten loads though, and am glad I had that few lbs extra weight lost before I went. I am still wearing my size 10 jeans though so not all bad!

New student arrives in just under an hour......it is almost like I've not been away!

    Hi all,

I have come from the Payment a Day thread and have fallen victim to the "Shred" phenomenon which originated from here I understand.

DH bought Shred for me after I said what the forums were saying and he has been doing it too!

We have done 5 days of Shred now and my MIL gasped when she saw us this morning and said "wow, you two have lost weight". We last saw her 10 days ago. :D

welcome to hypno's thread....this is indeed encouraging, i am back from my hols tonight and decided this was D-day...but am too knackered to do shred....thinking bout starting it tomorrow.... but this kind of motivation is really motivating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See this is really starting to get to me now. Have some blubber forming over top of jeans in true muffin top style, I really want to sit on the bench with RMC, but Boobylou has planted the seed...

It's not a bench, the wibbly wobbly corner has squishy sofas where we sit and chat & drink tea and watch Other People exercise. Admittedly it is Other People who are wearing the size 10 jeans.

Welcome back Hypno, sorry you have the student so soon, you sound like you need a rest
