I agree that this is a good base for a curry sauce - except it's now 8p in my local Tesco..... 100% price increase - what an outrage0 -

Morrisons do similar, in a jar. Not sure of the current price cos I bought a lot some time ago and am still working through them.0 -
How I wish I could buy a jar of Pathia sauce. It's my favourite :-) I've never found it in the shops, only a powder kit from an online reatiler, and it just didn't taste right. Though that may have more to do with my cooking skills! From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

I usually make my own curries from scratch because I don't like ready-made much, but on impulse I bought a couple of tubs from The Curry Sauce Co stand at a fair
they're not cheap but are absolutely delicious, definitely worth a try0 -

Hi Joe
Jam jar, yellow (value) label, in with the sauces. They are a bit anonymous looking and they don't get stacked at eye level!
There's nothing nasty in them and so they make a good base for a curry sauce.
