Sounds like the situations better than it was, at least a little. Rent arrears though, why has he not been paying the rent?!
If he leaves you'll be able to get housing benefit and stuff, you might even be better off, especially if he isnt bothering to pay it?I pay the rent with his bank card, but I give them £300 a month, that covers the rent and gas and leaves about £8 credit to add up, it must of been a 5 weeker, so I owe them one week, PLUS they sent another letter today including this weeks rent. He gets paid tomorrow so they will get it then, but jeez, I wish they would stop messing me around. I phone up and say "How much do I need to pay to keep me up to date to the 25th" Oh X amount - Fine I pay it, and then I just pay £300 every month on the 25th, and yet I still fall behind? They are ripping me off, swear to blog, and they better fix my kitchen or I'm going nuclear, sick of that biatch upstairs, she flooded my whole kitchen, one whole wall is saturated and still drying out, complete with hairy mould growing on the top, it was coming through the ceiling, and I had to get an electrician out as it was dangerously close to coming out the sockets so I didn't dare turn anything on in the kitchen.
Turns out, weirdo upstairs has TWO washing machines (its only her and her son) and she had plumbed one in BADLY, and noticed it was leaking and covered it in duct tape. YEAH GREAT THANKS! She must of noticed it pooling on her floor - She wasn't answering the door to me though, for about a week and on Sunday morning, I thought my ceiling was gonna collapse.
I hate her too.0 -
i think the car seat was an error, but we shall see tomorow'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

It's got to have been an error... I bet we all get "sorry but..." emails tomorrow lol...
I'm just watching a playhouse on eBay that we're hoping to win for Caitlyn for christmas... I'm half tempted though, if we win it, to put it up now and let her play with it while she can still get in the garden instead of putting it away until December when the weather is going to be pants...
Any opinions anyone?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Evening ladies,
I'm catching up from yesterday afternoon, so some of my comments may be a bit out of date now...My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Not as often as I shouldmy parents tend to come to us, I come down to see my brother and his family every couple of months but it is usually a flying visit.

Som - It was Caitlin's first Xmas last year and I wanted to start a couple of traditions that I could carry on for years to come.
Like rmac, I also stole Sami's idea of new PJs for Xmas Eve. This included me and DH! I also bought the That's Not My...Santa book and read it to her before she went to bed. I'm going to buy a Christmas-themed book each year and read it on Xmas Eve to her.
My mum made her a stocking, but I wanted to fill it. I put in bubbles, her first toothbrush and tooth paste, a wind up bath toy from Mothercare, a pack of socks, a banana (bit of a twist on the traditional satsuma!) and a Xmas-themed vest that I'd picked up from Tesco.
I haven't thought properly about this year and, in fact, haven't bought her anything yet for her stocking or her main presents, even though I've done a lot of my other Xmas shopping. I'll probably put a bit of chocolate in her stocking this year though.
When she gets older, I'm going to do more on Xmas Eve, like Tia does - Xmas movie, some popcorn/sweets, and hot chocolate in mugs.
I saw Pink Princess's idea of cheap musical instruments to put in a Xmas stocking. Tesco do maraccas, tamborines and click-clack things for £1 each. Caitlin's got them and they're great.
Aless - I've been meaning to ask you for a while. Do you enter all the competitions on the competitions board? How long does it take you each day? You've done brilliantly since May.
Tia - I LOVE Amber's new coat. She looks so cute.
MOTM - well done to 16yo on her results. Hope you have a great meal.
Pink Princess - well done to DD on her results!
Glam - good luck with all the applications.
AngelFairy - nice to hear from you. Well done to LO on using the toilet. That's brilliant. :T
SS - hope you're feeling a bit better this evening. Lots of hugs coming your way, as it sounds like you need them. If you do your trip as planned, I am pretty much exactly half way between Nottingham and Northampton, and only 15 minutes from the M1... Oh, have just read on and you're not doing London anymore
Michelle - well done to you on your class results - they're fantastic!. And yay to a laughing Ayana.
Krystal - ah, that's lovely that you got a kiss from Caitlyn.
Happy Birthday Bruno and Tara. Bruno, I hope you've had a lovely meal this evening.
SM - yey on the job front. Good luck for Friday, it's sounding promising.
I'm after some highchair advice. I want a new highchair. Something basic, easy to clean and wooden. I know I'll get loads of responses saying the Antilop but DH wants a wooden one. We've got a second hand Chicco Polly at the moment and it's a pain in the backside to clean, even more so now Caitlin is trying to feed herself. I don't really want to pay more than £40...any ideas/recomendations?0 -

I would let her have it now - she wont really know what christmas is all about at her age and she will get a few more months to play with it x ( but that is my opinion and I open ALL my christmas pressies before christmas day and re wrap them so dont listen to me!!)
Wow choppy - that was a mammoth post
On christmas Eve we go to the zoo where we can feed the reindeers and it was so magical I cant wait till this year as shes a bit older.19.6.10 Weight loss 6lb0 -
Sounds like a good idea Krystal, just don't do what I do, and then at Xmas buy her something else massive because you feel bad, and oh well it was only XYZ she got early, and she doesn't realise that was part of her Xmas
I think we will get them Krystal, I checked my account and said it's ready for dispatch and £9 has been taken from my account. There is a thread on the grabbit board about them, from 5pm, so surely with the massive amount of people buying them from that time onwards, mothercare would of noticed and put a stop to it.
Someone said that they will be getting more in/different colours. If they honour it maybe worth keeping an eye out so you can accessorise child with car :rotfl:0 -
Choppy, get one of those highchairs that converts down to a table and a chair, then you will get lots more use out of it, and a chair with a harness to keep her in place at dinner timeMummy to

I quite like the look of this wooden Ikea one, Choppy. Or a Tripp Trapp copy.
I hadn't really thought about getting/making a stocking For H at Christmas. It will be his second Christmas, but he was only five weeks old last year. I'm thinking that this year at 13 months he will get quite into the spirit of things!
Krystal- would Aimee be bothered if C gets her main Christmas pressie now? If not then I would let her have it now and get more use out of it.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

I made notes as I was reading
The zoo trip sounds lovely, and something I'd love to do with Caitlin.Choppy, get one of those highchairs that converts down to a table and a chair, then you will get lots more use out of it, and a chair with a harness to keep her in place at dinner time
I wasn't sure what you meant, but just had a look at Mothercare and saw this. Is that what you mean?0
