WM is now feeling very old.:o;)
I'm a great believer in "you're only as old as the woman/man you feel", which makes me a lovely youthful 30, and makes MFD older than me.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Edit - aw - my schoolfriend (who is my age) didn't manage to get a C in her maths GCSE for the 6th time this year
She did have a baby on New Years Day though so she can be forgiven. She is generally quite bright, we did A-levels together, but she simply cannot grasp maths
I have a friend like this who's wanting to go into teaching - but has failed her GCSE maths for around 4 years running! She's also very clever but can't do maths. Bless her, I wonder how she's done this year?
Bruno I hope whatever is happening in the kitchen is a lovely treat for you that doesn't require hours of cleaning up.:beer:0 -

But (I think) makes me younger than SS and Jamand a few others...

That should make me 34 then. But i certainly ain't feeling him, as I'm still petty and tight and he is still ignoring me. I'm not bothered. No cooking for him, no washing or ironing for him, makes my life simples0 -
It's pretty clear I'm genuinely ill now, even to myself - I CBA organising a holiday and I've not eaten breakfast yet
I'm supposed to be making dinner tonight too  think I won't be, as it happens.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Went to asda to get some shopping and I found the most gorgeous purple fur coat for Amber! She found it, she looked at it and screamed. Then spend the whole trip round cuddling and stroking it. Can't see it online though.
And then as I was shopping for packed lunch stuff, I wondered if it would be cheaper after all to just give DS2 lunch money? He is so fussy and while I try not to pander to him, he does have to eat. And I know that if I send him away with things he doesn't like, he will go hungry. Its easy at home when he can be coaxed with a sweet for afters but his school have a healthy eating policy.
For dinner tonight I have some chicken breast strips from the butcher so I got some corn on the cob (marked down) BNS (on offer) and I think I'll do like a bonfire night roast chicken dinner. It's cold enough.0 -
I am impressed with the ebay turbo lister - it's still a tedious job to list, but not half as tedious as normal.
Thank you to whoever was talking about it a couple of days ago.
Oooh, Tia Can you take a pic to see if I need to go to Asda. I think V might NEED a purple coat.:beer:0 -

Well DD1 did so well in her exams I am really proud of her considering she missed quite a few months of school last year when she was poorly. She has her place a college for the nursing course she wants so she is very relieved19.6.10 Weight loss 6lb0 -
