morning all!
For once, I am making the most of T's nap and sitting down, we're both full of cold and generally grogginess and I don't have the energy for housework. We're off to IL's for lunch too, to avoid cooking!
Some good news - lawyer reckons she's got our inheritance tax calculation to zero, considering it started at £100k, am well chuffed, old man obviously was quite a smart business man and had us sorted.
T's favourite activity at night these days is to stand at his cot bars and yowl - think it's the cold not helping as he's sleeping snuffly and also feeding snuffly as he can't breathe. I lay him back down without a hug but OH and picks him up and walks around to calm him - either way he stands up again in about 30 seconds - Sunday night I think I put him back down 20 times in 2 hours!! Do little one's sleep better in their own room? With one thing and another, T's cot is still in our room and all 3 of us are sleeping badly atm.0 -
Nope, moving tomorrow. Packing today! (again)
And now I have paint all over my hands and no way to get it off as it's the non-water-soluble kind. Had to repair a dent in the door, plus I think I used the wrong color so am going to have to paint the whole darn thing, grrrrr.
Hate packing houses. Hate hate hate it. Plus I need to send off my resignation letter to work today.
Aside from the hates, happy moving day and happy new home!!
Nail polish remover might work on the paint - hands and door, mind you as am a bit behind you, you might have repainted it all now!0 -
EA - T can get up on all fours but just rocks and wont move that way, also she doesnt lift her head when she's on all 4s just when she is on her tummy.
Krystal - Dont know when the code was valid till. Have you tried placing another order yet, let me know if it works. Good to know the sleepless nights might be down to the crawling/sitting skills then. Wonder when my second order will come.
Always - poor T having a cold, but yeay for MIL providing lunch, hope you both feel better soon.
Hugs for those of you having a rough morning x
On a brighter note just gave T a carrot batton and she managed to work out how to get it in her mouth and have a good chew, so we may be moving on to BLW sooner than I expected! typical now I have a freezer full of various food cubes lol. Right off to decide what to do with my avacados hmmm...Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Keely - i'd stick with the cot for as long as possible/safe!

We've swapped over to toddler bed last week as V was climing out of the cot, but i'm thinking she's too young for the switch over.
J & L were much older and went straight to normal sized beds. L was at least 2 1/2 and at the age to understand that big girls go in big beds and old enough to be bribed with a sticker chart!
I saw one of those at the weekend, Kiddicare possibly? I think V would see it as a challange to climb over.
Sorry your feeling grumpy RMac. A break will do you good.
I used to wonder if time away doing 'me' stuff was worth the bother, but now enjoy the rare time away I get but accept it'll take lots of stress and organising beforehand and lots of stress and tidying afterwards!
thanks 3. Yep - not worth travelling for less than 24hrs away. I've learned and will be better next time. At least I'm getting better at taking some time to myself. I've got 2 treatments booked for when we go to CPs in 10 days :rotfl:
I ddid think V would want to climb over the sheet :rotfl: i'm sure it'll fall into place for her soon.morning all!

Always - we all slept better once Benjamin moved into his own room. I still have the monitor on now (even though I am in the room next door) so I can hear him straight away if he wakes and settle him before he has worked himself up into a state.
Mmmm - bacon, avocado and cheese sandwiches with mayo - yummy!!
MacSmiler - I hope you get more of a Spa treatment than I did! Have you booked LO into the baby club or will daddy be on duty? I managed a haircut whilst we were there too!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

well I've booked a pedicure on the saturday afternoon and a massage on the sunday morning. Daddy volunteered to look after Annabel and talke me into having both rather than just one! I've promised him an house in the gym each day in return and have annabel booked into a swim class.
his parents are coming for a night too (at my invitation - think someone must have slipped something in my drink!) and they offered to babysit, but I've asked that we ALL go for dinner together as i'd prefer that.

(Sorry to bore you with this...) I am just putting together a scheme of work (a whole project/lessons for the English teachers in my school to use) for the new exam board we're changing to in September. The topic is texting and the issues that can arise from it. One of them is the loss of emotional interaction. Its very easy to read texts in a range of ways causing confusion at times. Add to the fact that men need things blatantly read out to them.. and he may have missed what you meant.
Send the text again, with WIFE in capitals and a cheeky wink at the end of it and see if he gets the hint. XX
