Boo - gentle hugs and feel better vibes for Isla x

Well decided as it was the height of summer now would be a mse time to get a lovely snow suit for T for the winter, so thanks to ebay this bargain arrived today, its lush and so snuggly. I know its 6-9 months but shes such a dink it probably wont fit her till she is 8 months or so.

Gratuatous pic of T in her L&G this morning..

    afternoon all

quick bit of advice needed re baby bathing....

still recovering from c section and finding it a bit tough, think my body is immune to painkillers...
Anyway question is whether anyone has any recommendations for bath supports to make bathing Landen a bit easier for me. Im quite small and he's now packing on the lbs and ounces so i struggle being able to support his weight with my one arm, and using the other to wash him. I know I still need to keep my hand there to support him even with a support but i kinda need something to help take the weight of my little faat bundle off my arm, plus im thinking it will mean i wont be bent over so much.....
im really struggling and feeling bad about it...

(((hugs))) Gently! I recovered really really quickly after Ambers, but it was weeks after Christopher's, so I do understand how you are feeling!

You could try using the kitchen sink, like Beenie said. Or just lying him flat on a bath mat with a few cms of water. Or one of the summer infant bath supports. Only bath him when he needs it, none of mine were bathed often as babies, I loved the baby smell too much, they didn't like it and it hurt me. If you use it as a bedtime windown, try baby massage instead.

And are you remembering to stand as straight as you can during the day? It does help, honestly. Have your wound checked again too. What pain killers are you on? Maybe ask your GP for volterol (?) even just one for night time, I found after Amber I was mostly fine, but took a volterol just after dinner time till about 4/5weeks. Thats when I did start to get a bit sore, in time for getting the kids to bed. They really worked for me.

Watch what clothes you wear too, if your still numb on your belly, you may not realise that your trousers are pressing quite a bit, which will make you feel sore later on too.

You know honey, you can switch the 3G off :A you shouldn't get charged for anything when its doing nothing if you make sure you've altered settings correctly, I'm not on an iphone tariff and I rarely pay anything in data because I use it wisely and have altered the settings

I have now turned it all off, but I can't put my sim in at all now. I keep getting those texts and it crashes it. I counted, I got 25 in 1 minute! Bought it from the o2 shop who are SUPPOSED to set it all up for me  lazy b'tards!

We have used to use AVG but recently bought Kaspersky at the beginning of the year, a years subscription for 3 PC's (which we have!) As I wanted something for my new lappy.

I'm just searching through ebay at the moment, searching for "dress" in women's clothing, my size, and only from Coast, Monsoon and Karen Millen. Quiet a few nice dresses coming up actually, including this one

I love that dress! I'd be bidding against you if I thought I could squeeze into a 12!

    Newlyweds eh?! ;)

    :rotfl:

I am loving the meet photos on FB. Looks like it was a fab day. I particularly love the one of 3 with Tea- V is looking on as if to say 'oi, that's my Mum!'

Back from my circuits class- it was a bit slow, to be honest. I'll give it another try next week but I might just stick to doing my own thing as I do like to push myself.

Hi all. The meet looked ace fun, great photos :)

Aww sorry to hear Isla's poorly Boo, hopefully she will feel a bit better once shes had the calpol.

Lovely pic of Tahlie in the L&G Som :)

Had T's 7/9 month check today, HV was very pleased with him. He now weighs 21lbs 4oz and is on the 91st centile for weight and head circumference and 98th (I think thats right, the not quite top one) centile for height!!

I said about him still not sleeping great and she said to make sure I feed him proteins with lunch and dinner now (thinking about it sometimes it would just be veg, like a veg hotpot type dinner) as that should fill him up more, and to feed him until he doesnt want anymore, which we do anyway. She also suggested feeding him at 4.30pm so that he should have enough time to digest it properly before bed, but we tend to do it at 5pm so think I might [STRIKE]ignore[/STRIKE] forget that bit (then I wonder why things dont work!!) :o
