Keira had her 1st day back at nursery today, she has been fast asleep on the sofa for 2 hours now :eek:
Though, her sleeping pattern is MUCH better and she's even sleeping in her own bed again (finally) but omg her room is a tip, my mum was watching her last week and let her and ellie PAINT unsupervised, it was all over floor, walls, STUFF, then they got scissors and glue and cut loads of paper up and glued fuzzy felts onto her cooker :eek:
I'll sort it this week....:whistle:
Does anyone have reccomendations for night lights? She wants to sleep with the light on, but I'm not keen on doing that, I'd rather she had a night light but I don't want a plug in one because I'd be worried her room would go on fire.0 -
Haha might have to get Ebaying all my belongings to be able to afford one! DH's words were "you can have your expensive pushchair, when i can have a porsche" think i might be fighting a losing battle lol x
i would buy him a porche from poundland and buy the pram:pWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
BM, if you're near an Ikea they have little white blob type night lights that I think might be solar powered... I keep meaning to pick one up anyway...
I'll have a look to see if they have them online...
Edit: rechargable not solar powered... http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40150993A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... We have our first settling in session on friday
(how bad is it that I don't actually know when his first proper day is
)
I got my parent pack today and it says his stuff should be in a drawstring bag, I assumed a normal bag would do so gonna have to look at what the others have when we go and if he needs a drawstring one I might make a cool one :cool:
why would it need to be a drawstring bag?Krystaltips wrote: »Sami, they probably hang it on a peg so the drawstring would hold closed if they hang it from the string...
I see........(but not really why a 'normal' one wouldn't do!)r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
:rotfl: I just went back to the Stokke page and found that Husband had left rather a pointed comment about the prize for MB.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

But i'm confused as the when it ended? At 5 BST, MB was in the lead. I was setting up fb's for J, L & V and got as far as V when she stuck her ice lolly down her throat til she was sick! Came back from cleaning up and it was finished - but it was before 6?!?!
It was very odd. They clearly said 5pm GMT which is 6pm to us. I assumed they stated it that way to make it clear to any overseas voters. But it closed at 4:50pm GMT. Somebody could choose to make an issue of this if they wanted.
However, there were three babies clearly in the lead, one of which had dubious votes. They've awarded prizes to all three. So they probably feel as if they've covered any potential complaints, as none of the others could amass enough votes in that short space of time.:j Are you mostly excited/scared/happy/sad?
Now I've finally got a start date, I've got the collywobbles. I'm excited and slightly worriedI have to learn to trust others, it's always been a failing of mine

I wonder if they did it while B&V were in the lead so that MB wouldn't get the big prize, and then awarded a runner up prize to stave off any complaints?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
