Here's my extra-grubby mini Wall-E baby...
Does everyone else have the same flash-too-bright-so-eyes-closed problem? Or does a decent camera get rid of this problem somehow?

this is what Annabel and I did this morning before my mum arrived

she even helped to clean up!
Very cute (don't tell charlie though as he'll want to do the same) I think we have the same table and chairs set! Although I've got the 6 seater version:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Beenie - my nephew took a picture of Katie on his phone last week, the flash was a big surprise for her, so we had the same problem, not sure what we can do to over come it.
Amber looks too cute for words.
Rmac - love the pictures, I wish Katie would help clean up after we've been cooking.Proud to be dealing with my debts

was it actually black or very dark greeny? black black would scare me but dark green is often the result of a tummy upset or a bowl of blueberries

I'd say very very dark green, close to black. Her next poop was lighter but still dark. I think it might be the apple and blackcurrent pouch thing she had earlier

For me that totally would of been a perfect "IN YOUR FACE" moment :rotfl:
Beenie, some cameras have a flash reduction option. Or a red eye reduced one.
Lily doesn't care, she just stares at the camera and blinks afterwards :rotfl:
Me and DH had Nandos today, quite naughty but we fancied it. Then i spent £18 in boots buying Mini Mode stuff for Lily!
But we got our Paultons Park tickets, just need to prepare for the trip now. I have 1 month
Any tips? So far im thinking:
- Take a big backpack instead of the change bag.
- Take milk cartons instead of hot water & powder.
- Take pouch of food instead of pre made food.
- Take small pushchair instead of massive one.
Its a 1 hour coach trip and we're there from 9am-3pm.0 -
Picnic blanket to sit on, EA. Sippy cup and water plus a bottle of tap water to top it up with. Picnic for you and OH. Sunscreen.
I just adore those photos of Annabel, Rmac, she seems to be concentrating so hard. I cannot wait until Henry is old enough to do things like that.
Can anybody help me with BFing biting advice please? H has nipped before, but the last two nights he has been properly biting me repeatedly, to the point where I am nearly in tears. Could it be another tooth coming through? Someone tell me it's just a phase as I don't want to stop BFing yet
. I wondered if he might be frustrating if my supply has dropped off a bit since going back to work, and being away from him at the weekend too, but when I squeeze my boob a good trail of milk comes out, so I'm not sure. :DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Wow, you converted MOTM - if only Glam loved you enough to get a FB

I think Aless meant if I really loved MFD & 3 then I'd open a FB account
Not saying, I don't love you of course
Glad V & B won, not been on all day otherwise would have got BIL to vote.
BIG ACHIEVEMENT - Put J down to bed in his cot and just left him to settle himself, no lay downs or anything, he grumbled for a minute then fell asleep :j:j:j:j:j:j:j No more waiting in his room for him to fall asleep
Oh and when he woke at 12am last night I made him go back to sleep until 4am
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
can you tell I'm chuffed???? Took 5 nights to get here - can't believe I didn't try it before.
r.mac & beenie - very cute pics!!
:)
J had very dark green poo after eating blueberries! Gross!!!!
Sami - J just has a little rucksack that I put on his peg.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

GISI - the advice I've heard is either unlatch and put them down for a few minutes then try feeding again or push them into the breast which get them to release their grip. Or a load no or ow.
It was just a phase with Katie, more when she was falling asleep. She stopped after I shouted ow so loud it made her jump!
She does it occasionally now when she's wriggling about but a quiet no or ow and I get a sorry and a kiss better

Krystal - we've got two of those booster seats (were half price in Tesco), one here and one at Mums and we think they're fab.
C and OH voted for V and B so glad they won.
Glam - yeah for sleeping - we're getting there with C, in her own room, going to sleep by herself in the cot and only (I say 'only' lol) waking at 11ish, 3ish and then half 6 ish.
We now have 6 teeth and can do all the blocks in our shape sorter (the same rocket one as Redmel if I rememeber from a photo last week) and put all her rings on her stacker :-)
Hugs PP xxx
Well done on first days at school.
Hppe MFD's interview has gone ok.
Hugs for Liam, hope his excema gets better soon.
Can't remember much else so hugs to all xxxMy baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0 -
Had a read back but can't remember as much as I had hoped.
Congratulations V & B, when you get your prize you should take a photo of it cos I for one have no idea what it is.
Rmac, Annabel looks so grown up and also looked to be doing a better job than Millie does whenever I give in and let her bake.
Caz and Tia glad to hear about good first days at school, long may it continue.Sarah_Joanne wrote: »We had a lovely afternoon at Tropical World with Millie's Mum, Millie and El. The lovely MM also bought Alfie a toy lemur to remind him of his day :A
We had a lovely time too, Millie says that Alfie is Scrumptious and she was still going on about your top as I was putting her to bed (I think she's wondering if it's some sort of super hero costume for 'Cake Lady')MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
JAM - That's amazing C can do that!! :T:T:T
J just lobs his stacker bits at it rather than putting them on - must be a boy thing! :rotfl:
He's being waking at 12am and 4am so I'm putting him off until 4am, then once he stops waking at 12am, I'll make him wait until 6am for the 4am one. Then once we get to 6am regularly, I'll make it 7am. Much more reasonable
