    SJ, i added to it my basket and it says
    CASE PRICE Dr Oetker Super Cook Regallce Icing 6 x 1kg -£1.49

    So i think its a case of 6 for £1.49.

    Does it matter that some of its out of date? Like the icing tubes and the flavourings?

    Not really, it's all best before, which means it may be past its "best", but it's safe to eat. If something has a use by date it will become unsafe to eat afetr that date.

    Sugar is a natural preservative so icing should last pretty much forever really! I am planning on buying a few cases :)

    Just looking for other things to buy now when I should be going to bed. Oops.
