:T Krystal at your not-a-puppy news. I see you SIL can't spell. :rotfl:
Did I mention my 6 year old has more brains? :rotfl:
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sorry for delays, i'm not well today. Think I have caught empathetic morning sickness or maybe just the word in bold. No, seriously, I don't feel great and Lucy was ill, then just got on with it. I don't usually do ill :o

Ah, that's really nice. It sounds like you've got a lovely family unit now, and it'll be even lovelier when the new baby comes along. Your new baby is going to have a great time with all his/her older sisters.

Thanks for letting me know about TC. I was one of the last to receive my form I think and it would have got back to them about 10 days before the deadline, so it hasn't been a month yet. We're not desperate for the cash, but it would be nice to know it's sorted.

(Although if they suddenly decided they owed us £50k :D, I would be pleased as it would enable us to buy the house we've fallen in love with but can't afford. I didn't realise that having a baby reduced the amount you could borrow by so much.

Yes, we're very close and Lucy's laid back and caring manner fits in very well. The girls are as excited as we are about the baby. I just hope it all goes well.

Yes, it's frustrating waiting. I'm not sure how they do it - surname, as and when they receive...hopefully they have underpaid you though. Does having a baby reduce the amount you can borrow? I've had my own home mortgage free for so long and before that rented from my mother, so have no ideas with that. 50k would be nice though :p

MOTM - I'm glad your older two girls are both settled into something...what is 16yr old is going to do at college? It sounds like 17yr old is enjoying her job and her nvq's:)

From what you have told us about lucy I am sure there will be no problems at all about her 'not wanting' your girls once the baby is here...as long as they realise the copious amounts of time she will need to spend with the newborn is necessary and is not a reflection on them at all:)

    xx

    Hi 3:D
Soon to be 16yo is going to be doing Sociology and Psychology, plus doing higher levels of Maths and English. She's looking forward to it. She's the one that I worry about most education wise as she's often in la la land and gets bored easily, but that aside she's hoping she's done well in her exams. An 'A*' or three would be nice, although nothing like 17yo last year, but she's a little genius (she doesn't get that from me or her docile mother) 17yo is loving it at the moment. I think she also likes one of the people she works with ;)

We've explained it all to them and they will be a part of baby growing up as much as possible. I will be going out of my way to make sure they are feeling part of it all and Lucy worries as much as me about them. After years of harship, we've had a huge slice of luck.

I hope you are feeling better and you've got your OH to help with the dinner? Even if he's a shocking cook, washing/tidying/preparation before and after isn't an art.

Yes, their owner died. Not a good week.

That game is on TV tonight. Me and the girls will watch and Lucy will probably fall asleep on me, regardless if the game is a thriller or not!

I'm not that bothered, only a daggers fan to wind my boss up :rotfl:

been out for a wander round local retail park with mother, sister and a hungover father.... who in the end irked me, why bother coming if your knackered and moany, just winds everyone else up....

Anyway home now and its freezing here! well its probably 13 degrees but im really feeling it. Ive caught DH's cold so will be sending him a message in a moment saying that monday is all mine, MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE! And he looks after Landen, no whinging at me or at Landen.....see how he likes it :)

Mel - Bang around a lot and wake him up.... so he can watch babies while you take some time away from them all, even if it is to cook dinner....just stay in the kitchen the whole time.... thats what i do,even if im watching water boil, its just the silence you need sometimes.

SM - Thanks :) Gordon is our fake baby.Got him shortly after i mc-ed with my first pregnancy, so now he's big brother....

  • SM - boo to your boss its not on.

Just after a bit of advice i'm bf and lo normally does about 6 dirty nappies a day but she had 4oz of ready to drink formula on mon and hasn't pooed since. Still loads of wet nappies, feeding fine, happy and smiling but no poo. Asked disintrested hv yesterday and she was carp said they don't recommend freshly boiled and cooled water and its not a problem if shes fine. I think its quite a dramatic change though i,ve tummy massaged, bathed, done naked bum on fluffy white towel time ( she peed all over but no poo) last night even gave an ounce of fbw with a tiny bit of pure orange juice -obessess much? To make things worse I'm supposed to be going on a big day trip with oh and 5yr old dd tomorrow while mil has baby but i can't express enough for full day 8-4 and i don't think i want to leave her with formula again if she hasn't done a poo. Will feel terrible if i don't go on trip with dd as she is already having trouble adjusting to new baby and seems to be blaming me -arrghh am i just being neurotic

saleshopper - if you think its not right, then it probably is that she's a little constipated. try a spoonful of prune juice (suitable from birth) or a couple of teaspoons of cooled boiled water. Try not to worry too much though - if she doesn't seem in pain and is producing wet nappies, she is doing okay. nothing wrong with trusting your mummy instinct though :D
