Hello, Big thanks to SM again for organising the meet :j Erin was soooo happy all day I think it might have been her best day ever :D On the way back she was just giggling at everything and was adorable and she went to sleep really quickly tonight. I really enjoyed it too and loved meeting everyone, it's really nice to see the older kids as well because all the mums I meet down here just have kids Erin's age.

It was lovely meeting you, sorry I didn't have much chance to talk properly to everyone-Elliot just didn't want to stop all day :o I think we both slept well last night!

I'm just in the middle of packing and ironing ready for our hols today, I've just stopped for a cuppa! :D

    keely.

ps-Elliot did eventually go to sleep on the way home yay!

JM, if he's reception I'd take him out for the day... It's not compulsory they're there anyway and 1 day missed playing won't hurt...

Otherwise, I thought I'd feel guilty doing things like taking Caitlyn swimming while Aimee's at school (or to ITNG which we've booked for while Aimee's at school...) But I try to remind myself that Aimee got 5 years of doing stuff with me, going swimming weekly, going to disney on ice etc... It's only fair Caitlyn gets her own times out too...

My Aunt frequently tells me she did nothing with my younger cousin because she felt guilty about the older one missing out while he was at school... I think that would make me feel worse...

I hope your scan went well :) xx

NMS - I would be very upset if my Mum did that but I really admire your reaction. I need to work on getting calmer and less agitated on things concerning T as my current insular anger towards things MIL does doesnt help anyone lol.

I also need to work on this and LO is now 18 months!!! However I have invited them on our trip to Centre Parcs in the Lakes next month. I've also booked myself into the spa :D SO I'm making strides in the right direction - I know I have control issues!
If my husband wouldn't keep insisting on going on holiday then we would only have 1 pushchair. But my precious Stokke will not be risked on a plane!

So now we have a M&P 03 Sport too!

Oh and the crappest of crap umbrella fold that doesn't recline and cost about £15 when my dad bought it 8 years ago - that sits in the porch in the hope that someone will nick it

Do you still use your Bizziebaby buggy MacSmiler?

Nope! Its a McLaren volo and very basic (too basic IMHO) so we bought a McLaren Quest for holidays and bus/train trips. I use the bugaboo mostly. I still love it.

    Krystal....where are yooooooooooooouuuuu;)

Glad the meet went well yesterday:D

CAFC - Hugs to you, I can totally understand where you are coming from as I was very much the same, although with added tears/feelings of uselessness/guilt/self loathing..... It does sound like you are lacking sleep, do you have anyone who can watch L whilst you sleep for a few hours as i'm sure it would do you wonders? Lack of sleep is the worst part of having a baby and something that no-one really tells you about, or emphases just how much it can affect day to day living. I am a robot too, I don't really do anything for myself anymore and it has gotten less with each child, but for the most part I don't care as my life is my children....although every so often I wish I could give them away for a week to have some me time...

I said to dh yesterday that T will most likely drop a night feed soon because she is having two feeds, one at around midnight, then at around 4am, but only taking an ounce or two of milk at each one this last week...well last night she didn't wake for the midnight feed just woke once at 3am and went pretty much straight back to sleep:D The only problem is K is getting another tooth and decided to wake intermittantly from 3am-6am, well of course T woke for another feed just after 6.30, so I am still knackered haha xx My kids conspire to take it in turns to not let me sleep or grab a minute to myself haha x
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

yeah Landen and Gordon Ramsay (the dog) do that between themselves throughout the evening, well from about 3pm till 9pm....

Big hugs though Mel, I cant imagine what it must be like trying to do it all with your brood, but you're doing an amazing job, and like you said your life is your kids, and as they grow and all those little/large things that makes you glow with pride happen, it'll be down to how much you did for them xx

eta - re-started my day with a new mood, as Landen has just giggled in his sleep, and Gordon Ramsay is asleep underneath the swing, with his head on his monkey toy which he took to Landen when he cried in his sleep.... :)

Krystal - thanks for the banana warning I do remember someone on here (maybe you) mentioning it wrecking clothes so have been making sure she is wearing a bib, and so far they have washed up ok but then I tend to use a stain remover every few washes, specially if we've had poosplosion! Have been spoon feeding it to her too. Hope the scan went well x

Jakesmummy - looks like those Zia sellers are both the same company and looking at their address are actually petite star, just trading under a second name.

beenie - hope you can make a descision on the dresses, I love the style too but dresses arent me!

mfd - monkey forest looks good but still too far for us money wise :( now if I happen to be at my Mums around that time it might be doable.

Going to attempt a shed load of cleaning today before OH gets home, I very lucky that he usually does a big chunk of it, but I hate that he faffs about doing it when he gets in from work and then we dont spend time together, or he doesnt with T. Just hope LO is gonna comply!

Mel! I am very sorry I suddenly had an epiphany and recalled that you made the post above last week when I was busy and somehow I never replied to it :( I do apologise.

It was a nice bbq and OH is definitely feeling better for the last week now which is good. She still needs to crash for an hour or two most days when I get home from work.

E will be 2 years 4 months when number 2 arrives :) I am sure he doesn't grasp it in any real way yet but we have referred to 'baby sister in mama's tummy' quite a few times now, and this evening he did a thing he often does of randomly saying "Mama, dadden!" and pointing at me, only this time he went "Mama, dadden, sister!" :D

how cute! There is exactly 2yrs 4 months between me and my sister, then 8 years between her and the youngest sister! I think its a great gap - close enough to be real friends, but not too close that we were always doing the same things. :p

Krystal - what's the verdict? baby or puppy?:rotfl:
