    Evening all..

Hope everyone is good and the meet went well :)

I had my afternoon of mingling with the firemen.. nice, but pleased to report I have a fitter one at home ;) Hopefully going to another training session next week but then miss the other three cos we're on holiday. Was a very enlightening afternoon - learnt a lot, some good, some bad

Now got four days off before a manic three days straight at work again next week. Monday is physio app (the one before - hopefully! - sign off) and general consultants app too :)

SM, any of the big supermarkets, I reckon. Are you looking for just sheets and pillows, or duvet sets too? There was something on the Grabbit board the other day about (ETA: bargain!) Tesco bedding sets, but not from Tesco Direct, they were on the groceries site, get them delivered with your shopping :)

I should add that BIL has no holiday left therefore can't go back when we are - it means he'll be staying here on his own which I'm not bothered about but IL's were like 'We'll come to you it's easier and means BIL isn't on his own' completely missing the point that it's about J not them!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

SM, BHS have got a bit of a sale on online too.. :)

ETA: If you're going to a Tesco store, you could double up any clubcard vouchers too and use them on Homeware.

Wasn't that the website that the 'adult toys' were on on HUKD? ;)

    I am  right now.

It was [STRIKE]and I may or may not have purchased my brother an adult toy[/STRIKE].

It sounds like your ILs are well-meaning, good-hearted interferers, which makes it totally legitimate but extremely guilt-inducing to be mad at them. Rant here and think fondly of their desire to please everyone.

I wish my parents were so into the idea of seeing me that they'd interfere with my brother's wishes to do it :o

Always - sounds like are brothers are similar, mine didnt even send a card when T was born!! I hope you gave OH a kick up the backside for doing a rubbish job. Beer drinking sounds a fab way to spend your BH :D

DK - if you need to escape for an hour or so Im always up for coffee again x

    EA - lovely jumperoo pic.

Sami - our pressure fit stairgate has left indentations in the walls so we may as well have gotten fixed ones!

Caz - thats really not what you need, kiddiecare sound a nightmare!

Beenie - we have the polly and T doesnt mind it, we chose it cos it packs away to a good size. As for covers you can order new ones via Mothercare.

MOTM - your little old lady neighbour sounds a sweetie, I have a soft spot for oldies like that, even if they can be a little ecentric.

Mel - cute pics and am loving her little outfit :D woot for getting dress changed.

gill - yeay for sophie being a success :D I dont know where we would be without ours. Hope your carvery was yummy.

NMS - Im with jillie, my mum says she will pay for Ts shoes but I fully expect us to all go together and get them. If not Id be :(

Chopy - Hope C gets better soon x

CAFC - No idea what to say but what your saying sounds a little familiar. I get really cranky when am tired and run down have found taking vits and minerals helps as silly as it sounds.

SS - your ordering system sounds crazy! wish I could order in advance of xmas, but alas no space.

Hope all you Ladys and Littlies had a fab meet today and good journeys, cant wait to see some pics :D

Had a fab boat trip yesterday and T enjoyed watching the ducks and swans go by, was only 45 min bit really the right length before she got bored. Decided to spoon feed here some mashed up banana while we were having our little picnic and she loved it and ate it much better than her baby rice, hardly spat any back out. Am glad you guys warned me about post banana nappies tho lol!

Went to the Cinema in the evening to see Knight and Day (great film btw) and Nana and Grandady sat Tahlie for the first time :D According to MIL she was perfect :D She ate her baby rice which MIL made up a bit thicker than normal (after the banana eating we thought it would be better). And even better news she drank all the milk I expressed for her from a bottle, after never taking to one before. MIL tried the TT CTN first and she didnt want it, but loved the MAM silk teat one :D

Oh and so far (touches wood) no more nipping since tuesday!
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls
    Working on baby no2 :D
