I have loads of dressesWith strappy dresses Erin wears a vest under but for dresses with sleeves, if it's hot, she just wears the dress - super easy for nappy changing
Also have tights and leggings for cooler weather and some nice cardigans.
However dresses aren't good for crawling so I also have dungarees and trousers. I hardly ever leave Erin in a sleepsuite but that's mainly because I neglected to buy many.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

At ten months, she was having five feeds a day: first thing, mid morning, mid afternoon (on waking from nap), bedtime and 10pm. 10pm was dropped at 13 months by us stopping waking her up for it (followed by a week of occasional early mornings). Mid afternoon feed went around 19 months as she became less interested in it so I started offering drink/snack instead and then morning feed went the same way around 23 months. However, I did nothing to encourage her to stop having milk at those times - if I had been going back to work I probably would have kept the 10pm feed and offered snack/drink as an alternative to the mid morning/afternoon feeds much earlier rather than waiting for her lead. Also depending on how you get on with expressing and she gets on with consuming expressed milk, expressing is also something that can be considered.
Thanks Susan, that's very interesting - not exactly what I wanted to hear but I think I'm going to have to work harder on the feeding so we can drop some feeds before I go back to work. Ideally I didn't want to have to express as I don't like doing it but if I have to I will. My younger sister had no problems dropping feeds, after she started feeding her son it was only a matter of weeks before he stopped asking for milk during the day but it looks like Erin will be more like Alice.
Thanks for letting me know about Feely - let her know I said hi(Thanks Sami as well)

Mel, I still call Amber 'he'. Its a bit... well, there's bits missing! And nobody told me that little girls have boobies! I'm sure mummies of girls who have a boy feel the same.0

Jenny are you happy to do a bit of spoon feeding? I've found that generally Ed doesn't fill up when feeding himself so I've started giving him a spoon fed 'side dish' or dessert in order to drop the daytime feeds, its only been this last week that I've not fed him in the day consistently. I decided I'd had enough so he feeds as often as he likes in bed but once we're up around 8:30/9am he gets no booby milk until around 3/4pm, I'm having a bit of trouble getting him to nap without his 11am feed if we're at home but we're getting there0

30p off little yeo's yoghurts, they're currently on 3 for £3 in tesco and asda IIRC along with the LY chocolate mouse (which are yummy chilled or frozen and you couldn't possibly expect a LO to eat all that yoghurt/mouse before they're OOD

Thanks Sami, I was spoon feeding a bit, mainly yoghurts but even though Erin eats them she always ends up crying *confused* so I decided not to bother. Might be worth revisiting though, especially if they are yummy

Jenny - you will probably find that you can continue to do the daytime feeds when you aren't at work, then make other arrangements when at nursery (either expressing or formula). That's what we do and it is fine. Izzy wouldn't ever take a bottle, so she just has a cup of milk at nursery. They haven't asked me for more formula for ages, so I'm not sure they even still give her any milk any more (they might giver her cows milk instead... I should ask them really), but she always comes home from nursery happy and well fed, so I'm not fussed really.
It is amazing what they will do at nursery but not for you - even when they are babies peer pressure still works a treatIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009
