Krystal - I've only ever seen it in Boots!

SM - I've got a standard off peak ticket it doesn't give a time, and looking on trainline.com the price I paid is valid all afternoon!

Plans with Katie tomorrow - clothes washing, savoury scone making, watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and possibly a trip to Morribobs as Ben & Jerrys is half price

OMG my baby is unbelievably stroppy. If the horror in the shop downstairs wasn't a chainsmoker I'd haul the baby down there and tell her that since her kids woke mine and put her in a horrible mood she can damn well entertain her

So I am going to wrestle some tasty pork, carrot and potatoes into her and we're going to the post office and then to look at suitcases. Husband's cabin bag is falling to bits and I have decided that I want to give him his Christmas presents in a new one.

I can't recommend a samsonite 4 wheel case enough. Not only is the case great but one of my wheels eventually wore down after 5 years hard use and after one email they sent me new wheels free - didn't even charge postage :)

  • A day of domestic goddess-ing here. I've made flapjacks and cheese scones, plus sorted through loads of paperwork and done some cleaning. I'm wiped out now.

:j Yay for Rhys's reduced meds.

Eep at your friend's birth story Gill. That is scary stuff. Glad they are both okay now.

His old one is Samsonite and after ten years' extremely hard use is only now starting to fall apart. I went to their concession in a department store today and some of them were crap though, the pull-out handle wouldn't push back in and felt really cheap. I saw the one I think I want to get, so now it's a matter of shopping around for it :money:

SM did we have a final list of who's coming on Thursday? MFD are you coming? Is Tara still coming?

    I am coming :)
  • I don't think I will be coming, although I am a bit  about it....

I only have a day and a half of holiday left and I really need it for interviews.

I couldn't get the train you wanted me to get as it's peak time and £10 more than the next train so I'm getting that. Will get to brum at 10 past but happy to meet you all at the place instead of having you hanging around waiting for me.
