Morning :j.
Had the best lie in we've had for ages here and didn't get up until gone 8am which was amazing!
I have a student midwife popping round this morning to chat about doing some babysitting for us so fingers crossed she is lovely. Nothing else planned although I'll probably take Henry out for a wander later.
Lovely to see both Beenie and Weezl on here this morning. I hope you are both well. Beenie- Amber is so beautiful in that picture. Weezl- I have no idea on double buggies but would love to hear about how your boys are doing.
Maz- ouch for your boys injuries. Not sure on the gnat bites really, I just use a bit of calamine or sudocreme if I get any.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Maz, Sudocrem's good for bites as well, isn't it? Molly isn't showing them, although I'm covered - seems she got the "unattractive to biting insects" gene from Daddy and I remain sole mosquito target

I use cortisone cream on mine, but wouldn't on a baby.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hello
My toddler has gone from hating baths to now loving them? I'm not complaining, but I don't know why he's suddently started loving them again! Yesterday he tried to climb into the bath (while i was running it) with his clothes still on lol. I put our names down for swimming again with surestart, I really hope we get a place soon now he seems to love water
I'm currently counting down to the weekend now, can't wait to go away for the week. A week away from here and my lovely neighbours will be like heaven!
I think Elliot will love it too this year. It is very MSE too as the caravan we're stopping in, is a friends so she's letting us have it for nothing this year
I was feeling so down thinking we couldn't afford to go anywhere this year aswell. Someone is looking down and feeling sorry for me lol.
Is the meet still going ahead? I'm still looking forward to that too.

In Amber news, she's close to crawling i think, she's been getting on all fours and rocking, she just needs to figure out what to do with her legs! But she is very mobile anyway because she has some impressive manouveurs (sp?) while rolling that means she can get herself through any shaped gap :rotfl:.
William is the same, he gets really upset with himself when he gets on all fours cos he doesnt know what to do next.... then he plops onto the floor and gets really annoyed unless he's on the laminate floor in the extension as he seems to be able to push himself backwards on that..right under Henrys table and chairs yesterday:rotfl::rotfl:Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Kindof - yes they should do that, altho things have changed a little since I went on mat leave so maybe worth another phonecall just in case. Good that the other seat is 13kg tho at least you have something to fall back on, maybe you can leave it with your parents for when they have him, save you lugging the bigger one around.
Thanks, the shop is kinda far away, I am going to ring them again today, do you know if I ordered it online to be delievered to my house will they still fit it if I take it in? and if it doesnt fit the car (which I think it will) will they still do a refund?

Hi gisi
we are all well thank you, fergie's speaking is coming along much better at the moment so I am really relieved. HVs said 'if he doesn't have 6 words other than mummy and daddy by 18 months we'll look to refer you' but now he has 10 words excluding daddy, so I think they'll probably be happy enough
Kessie is good too, still colic-like but not fully colicky for a couple of hours daily.
Weaning was suggested as a method of helping him, but I'd rather wait if we can.
How are you?

Hi Keely - are these the ones in Bilston Baths? We went to those and absolutely loved them! The pool there is ace, even if the changing rooms leave a little to be desired!
Hope you have a lovely holiday!
Hey Weezlie! How are you my lovely?please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

It sounds like Fergie is coming along really well. It's interesting to hear that they suggested weaning for Kezzie as I've not heard that as a remedy for colic before (not that I am an expert, of course)!
We're amazing thanks. Henry seems to be at the age where each day brings something new and I don't think I ever imagined how much fun it would be. Back to work for me next week, so that will be a whole new challenge but I think it will be good for me too.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Oh and Gill, i had an image in my head of you sighing when you opened it "why the heck has she sent all this crap" :rotfl: But i have serious issues with throwing free samples and stuff out so feel free to bin it all where i can#t see :rotfl::rotfl:
You picked the right person to send it to Beenie, I just love free samples :j My best mate has a 4 wk old and I have another friend due in October so anything I can't use will be passed on.
SJ - sorry to hear you had a bad night. We had two pooey nappies to change again last night. He went back down afer the 1am one but I had to feed him at 3.30 where we've been getting away with 6 recently. Typically he chose the night when I had wine so I've been a bit slow to get going this morningMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
