Choking - DS1 choked properly a few times, DS2 did it once or twice, Amber has so far not choked but likes to regurgitate bits of food she didn't chew properly the first time. Only with Amber am I confident enough to let her sort it herself, with the boys I would have been slapping their backs and all sorts. I think it comes down to individual babies and how you react to it. I do find the mesh things gross though. Its the plastic bib with lip thing! Icky!!!

Bladder weakness - me mate had physio where they teach you how to do the pelvic squeezes properly, she then had a cone device to use (I didn't ask, it involved foofness) and finally she had some sort of mild electrical current treatment which finally sorted it out.

Glam, hope Jack feels better soon. URTI are horrid, not the worst thing he could have (respiration wise) but probably the most annoying for him. Pillows and drinks. And towels for all the mucusy sick.

Choking can happen to adults too - my mum taught a child whose mother had died by choking on a baked bean.

I've asked at the doctors but he said it's just one of those things and told me off for not doing enough pelvic floor exercises :o
I'm sure I remember you finding the GP rather unhelpful with other things too. Is there another practice it would be reasonable to switch to or are there not really any options?

    Right, looking at this map;

    http://www.heatonpark.org.uk/HeatonPark/System/Right_Menu/Interactive_Map/

Are drivers best going in at the Sheepfoot Lane entrance (right at the bottom) and using the Lake car park?

(Unless it all goes t's up and we go somewhere else!)

    Evenin all

I second the play centre too as I can't see a cafe having much room for 10+ Mummies and babies and OH's, let alone having enough high chairs?

I'm easy with either though. Off to bed now but will check in the morning for the latest decision.

Am a bit worried bout Caz. Her train was due at 7.30 and I'm worried she's struggling finding the hotel :-(

Hugs to Jack, well done Josh (I think it was Josh?), general hugs to all and hope to see some tomorrow.

    Night all xxx

PS Yes choking can happen to anyone and well done Beenie on doing a first aid course {clap} xxx

But, it was a pita to wash. I put it in the dishwasher and then the washing machine. The washing machine got it like new, then it went on its way with the fairies to another little baby.

Did it come here? I know Andrew's mesh feeder came via the fairies, but I'm too lazy to look back and remember where it originated :o:) We tend to use it about once a week, either for banana or melon. I don't have any problem getting it clean ...... Marley does it :rotfl:

GISI - I just realised I didn't get around to answering you earlier
I got Ed's amber necklace from this seller http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Amber-Teething-Necklaces-Workshop I think boogelly got Isla's there too. I'm totally convinced they work :D

Boogelly we could check the list of people coming and see if changing it to the traff play place is viable, I'm sure between us her n by txt we could change it if peeps think thats a good plan? I do think it is, my boys will be so grumpy if we're stuck in a cafe :o

I got Caitlyn's necklace from the same seller as Sami...

I don't think it made any noticeable difference to her...

aaargh heavy rain for tomorrow :(

I'd be happy with an indoor alternative where we won't get wet. Mainly because I don't know how to put the raincover on T's pram!

Where is the playcentre that you're referring to? Or is there anything/enough to do at Trafford to keep little ones amused?
