When Lexi was like that when she was tiny I would give her a few sips of OJ
Not everyone agrees but it worked and she wasnt uncomfortable anymore. I always tried to put a limit on things too so I wasnt winding myself up with it as much Like 'if she is still like this tomorrow lunch then ill give her some orange juice' Doesnt stop you thinking about it but at least you have a plan iyswim?

Id close my eyes and pretend it was brown sugar!
Or lay him nakey on your best sheet/towel/rug a nice dry clean only white one0 -
MFD I know you said you wanted something for the terrain but realistically how much time do you think Benjamin will spend in his pram? Would a better quality lie back umbrella buggy not do the job? Benjamin and Lexi dont have much between them and she wants to get out and walk everywhere! And when he's somewhere new he's going to want to be out exploring
I always use my Maclaren techno xlr for everything now and I find that ok in most terrains, I know there a little expensive for a 'holiday buggy' but Im sure you could get an OBaby one really cheap. Iv pushed a few of them and there not too bad and lie back.

That's the problem really Sparkle, they aren't really cheap if you want something comfortable. And then once you get up to say £60 or so my head leaps into 'well spend x more and get y mode'
We have a mamas and papas factory shop here so if I go umbrella fold I can pick one up in there for a decent discount...
I do know what you meant though, he will want to be out and about...but he also insists on going to sleep at 7pm every evening so he needs to be able to sleep in it.

Went to baby grop today and Lily loved it, then they had a short weaning class afterwards where they bring in a jar of baby food and show us how to make the home made version.
They did Banana Porrige today, Lily tried both and she didn't rate the jar version

Next made the biggest ones we had, they're expensive tho. They also do romper style ones (so no feet but no cold tummy) up to age 5 (quite silly IMO how is a 3+yo supposed to get to the loo on their own and get out of all in one PJs ?
Tia, I can understand how upsetting it is... My Dad has forgotten Aimee's birthday 2 years in a row and posted Caitlyn's card 2 days after her birthday this year... And I haven't even told him where to go... Although I'm tempted sometimes...
Just been to boots and picked up my cheap pampers wipes... I was a bit gutted to be paying £3.66 for them when the johnsons ones were cheaper... So I'm glad the johnsons ones have gone up to a fiver lol...
Just dispatched hubby to Asda for huggies though... I rather foolishly ordered some with my shopping and I was contemplating sending them back but hubby was muttering swear words under his breath about having to carry the shopping through on his own and I just couldn't be bothered with it... Still... They'll all get used... I put Caitlyn in 4+... The tapes cross over because she's that skinny... But she needs something that absorbant otherwise she'd wake in the night to be changed she pees so much....
And while I'm talking about pee... My washable nappies are really starting to whiff so I tried doing a strip wash and it made no difference... Then I noticed a bad smell coming from the washing machine... I googled and discovered that using washing liquid instead of powder can cause a backlog of black slime inside your machine... 2 boil washes with vinegar and one with a pre-wash with bleach later it's starting to whiff a bit less... But I can see why strip washes weren't working if the machine is clogged with soap liquid... I shall swap back to powder now because apparently it has bleaching agents in that stop it building up...
Just a warning to anyone else who is wondering why their machine is getting a bit whiffy...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
