Programme about toddler sleeping problems just started on Ch4.
Well done to clever big boy Henry!
MDW Maybe she can have a couple of nights practice and let you sleep in at the weekend.:beer:0 -
Would be nice, I'm also thinking it as the most gentle way I could hint that it's time to drop the morning bfProud to be dealing with my debts

One thing I wish children understood about is weekends
.
Are you just down to morning and night feeds now MDW?:beer:0 -
Evening everyone, we've had a lovely day here.
Went to the park with Lilys cousin Poppy, i was taking a pic of Poppy and she walked upto the camera with her arms folded 'gangsta' style and when i took the pic, she took the camera off me to have a look at it. She's 20month old! :rotfl:
(pics to follow)
Lily has been weighed, she's 15lbs 11ozs now. She dropped half a centile, so we have to get her weighed again in 4 weeks to see if she stays in the middle of 50th & 75th. She was 91st to start with.kindofagilr wrote: »I really hope they can too, I just think it would be mint, yeah, me and gym were due on the same day, and you the day before? I cant remember Som's due date but I know Tahlie was born on the 15th march
We'll have to sort something out, maybe if there is another one in the kinda middle of the country then we can do that one?
I think i was due 2nd, but gave bith first?
Yeah deffo, at the moment we just cant afford it and i feel it would be unfair to take Lily on a train for 3/4 hoursI'd also have to take 3/4 bottles and 2 pots of food with me. As well as her pram, change of clothes, nappies and wipes and toys.
I did baked potatos for DH once, when i cut it open there was a massive black slug looking thing in the middle. We haven't had them since.
I was worried when coming from the pregnancy thread that this thread would be cliquey, but i feel once you get stuck in its fine.
My posts are sometimes ignored, but i dont feel thats on purpose (unless it is, then:rotfl: ) But i often post un replyable rubbish anyway
Weezl, that photo is beautiful.
Som, its a shame you dont live here. On fb there is a Portsmouth prams buy & sell, and some people sell Muras.
SS, Molly is beautifulFab Tutu!
Kindof, that woman is a prrk. Yes its great to bf for 6m or longer, i wanted to. But there were many reasons why i couldn't and didn't want to. Im sure im not poisioning Lily.
Maz, woohoo for toilets poops!

Can anyone recommend any websites that are selling cheap baby clothes, possibly with a good sale on/good voucher discount? I could do with stocking up on a few outfits for T in the next size. I've had a look at la redoute but I don't really like what they've got.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

I linked you to them on your page
Your pics are gorgeous, and I think fighting with OHs with newish babies about is almost inevitable - they're not always as quick to adapt to babies as mothers, maybe because they often do less of the feeding/changing/daily routine stuff so they don't see the small things in the baby that lead to the big changes in how things are. And it can leave them feeling left out and resentful and it all comes to a head against the other parent - because they can't express the anger against the child/ren.
It happened here and still does that we have big arguments. We're still learning how to deal with it. I hope it gets better for you two.jillie1974 wrote: »just thought i'd pop on and say that Kian's christening was fab!!
I'm so glad - I was wondering how it went.
Thank you all for saying lovely things about my wee beastie
:j for Katie in her new bed, Henry for his appropriately-located poo and everyone else for whatever things there are to :j about. I've just spent 45 minutes wrestling with setting up the birthday present my parents sent Molly - I was thinking of getting her an activity dome but went with the Fropper instead, but my parents sent the dome! We have the space for it now the living room is sorted out so I'm not too bothered about the room it takes up (just taken down the play gym as it's been a good island to keep her stuff and it takes up the same amount of space) - and although it was a nightmare to build it does all the sorts of things Molly enjoys when we're at Gymboree so hopefully it's a hitOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

3 - we're down to just mornings.
EA - loving the pictures.

I'm still waiting for her to be ready to go. She just made a list and told me she was going by herself. When she changed her mind about me coming I asked her why and she said, "Because I'm worried that I can't drive the car because it's dangerous to drive the car so I need you to drive it."I'm keeping an eye on the flights in case they get any cheaper
Sami - long time no speak. I'm glad Ed's appointment went well and there is nothing to worry about
Weezl - hello stranger. What a beautiful photo of the two of you. Caitlin doesn't say "mummy" (or anything remotely sounding like it!), so I'm glad I haven't got the only child like that (ETA...have just seen Sami's and Caz's posts saying that they're in the same boat).
3 - urrrggghh at the poo on the slide.
MDW - I hope Katie's first night in her own room goes well. It sounds like she is very excited.
SS - have tried to find your photos on FB but can't see them. Why can everyone else?
EA - love the pics!
MOTM - how about one of thesehttp://www.oakwellmotorhomes.com/
Kindof - when I was weaning Caitlin I used to mainly give her fruit purees for breakfast (mainly apple, pear or apple and pear). I also used to give her baby cereal as it is gluten free for babies under 6 months. When she got to six months though, I started giving her weetabix or porridge, sometimes with fruit puree mixed in. I know she's a lot older than Elliot so has been eating longer, but more recently I've been giving her Cheerios occasionally and she enjoys those too.
Gill - I meant to reply to you yesterday but forgot. I had issues with Caitlin's Halifax account. Due to them giving me the wrong information, I didn't make the first payment in time, so immediately the account was turned into the one with next to no interest. The payment went in the account in early October rather than by the end of September. I phoned up and got a really lovely lady who promised she'd do her best to sort it out. She ended up getting someone to amend the date of my first payment to September so the account kept the good interest level. Well, I hope it has - the first anniversary of it being open is next month and the interest is paid annually so we shall see. It might be worth ringing up and seeing if you get a more helpful person?
Jakesmummy - ((hugs)) hope you can sort something out. The pictures are lovely.
Jillie - glad Kian's Christening went well. Have you still got family staying with you?
Maz - well done to Henry!
Big news here - Caitlin has finally reached the 20lb mark, so she can be forward-facing in her car seat!0
