Hi....My post may or may not make sense, as some letters aren't working properly.....since I had a hissy fit and smashed up dh's computer, inc brand new £200 monitor!!! I have managed to put it back together so it works (sort of)

Caused a huge row thursday night, because I am stupid and stubborn, and probably slightly crazy:( Meaning we didn't go to bed till 2am then T needed feeding at 3 and I was then up till 6am.
Things are still very tense here and K is also teething and throwing tantrums like you wouldn't believe....also I am pretty certain T has colic, it is really wearing me down:(

On the plus side dh loves his new phone the Dell Streak, and I got my new phone today...the Samsung Galaxy s, I was torn between that one the Xperia X10 or the HTC Desire, after hours of reading around, I chose the Galaxy, which is currently charging.

    And finally Kiddy news
K has started talking...we have had Moo, Ball, Vroom, and woof to add to his Pooooooooo.....

Huuge well dones to Jayden for walking:D and yay for new car SJ:) and Oooops on bumped brand new cars;)

With Katies first steps, she was ready she just needed a bit of confidence so DH and I were getting her to practice walking back and to between us holding hands when she let go tried it on her own!

Tis OK SM I was just checking, I have trust issues with my laptop at the moment :)

Weekends are better for me, but I'll wangle something if it during the week :)

    We're currently watching Hairspray.

Right, caught up, got a secret that I have been absolutely told I must not tell you all,

guess whose DH bashed his week old 27k Volvo today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oops! Don't tell him but I'm really worried about DH bumping our new one. I know he'd never do it on purpose but it's a nice car and he's only been driving a year. (He also bumped the front and back of current car IN THE SAME DAY when we went to see Elton John  )
This afternoon we've had our food shop delivered and had our hair cut - Katie decided it was her turn to be first. I've also made some chewy, fruity flapjack which is rather delicious, it doesn't use syrup, sugar or butter either

    Recipe please! :)

We just ordered Dominos. So hungry. Missed lunch today which is not like us. Can't wait for it to get here.
  • I bumped my car on the day I picked it up :doh:well, to be precise I drove my brand new car into my month-old house!!!

We have new shoes! Benjamin is now a 5 G if anyone is interested! We went to Friary Shoes as recommended by Krystal and the service was ace. AND we actually got to pick from any of the styles we wanted rather than being asked 'should I just bring out whatever we have in his size'.

Downside - nothing in the sale :(

Also got DSS measured and despite the PW insisting that his feet haven't grown since we last had him measured last September he is now a 3 on one foot and 3 1/2 on the other - not the size 2 that he was *rolleyes*

Yay for walking and talking babies!!

    It's out of this book

    10oz (270g) Jar Apple Sauce
    4oz/115g/1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
4oz/115g/3/4 cup raisins (I just used some mixed fruit I had in the cupboard)
2oz/50g/1/4 cup demerara sugar (I used dark brown soft as no demerara)
    2oz/50g/1/4 cup sunflower seeds
    1oz/25g/2tbsp sesame seeds
    1oz/25g/2tbsp pumpkin seeds
    3oz/75g/1 cup rolled oats
3oz/75g/2/3 cup self raising wholemeal flour
    2oz/50g/2/3 cup desiccated coconut
    2 eggs

For the seeds I used a combination of sunflower, pumpkin, sesame and linseed as I them ready mixed in the house.

Oven 200C 400F Gas 6. Grease and line 8" square tin. Mix Apple Sauce, raisins, sugar and seeds, mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Add the remaining ingredients and gently stir until combined. Tip into the tin and level. Bake for 25 mins or until golden and firm. Cool in the tin, lift out and cut into bars.

I beat the eggs before adding them. You could use any combination of fruit and seeds.

I've cut them into little squares, which are adult bite size but snack size for Katie.

    Enjoy!
