I have a condenser drier, It's good that i don't have a tub of water lying around its bad cause I swear it takes longer than a normal tumble and it leaks from the bottom (I think i seriously need to defluff ALL filters) and I have my tumble on everyday, as is the washing machine, cooker, lights left on, laptops plugged in all day, tv is on 24/7 as if you turn it off I wont get it back on and I aint covered under my insurance, but I would of been if I had p2ssed on it - go fiiiiiiiiigure.
Anyhoo I just checked my leccy and i put £35 on the key uhmmmmm on the 2nd of August (I owed it £5) so I had £30 credit. I just checked now and I still have £9.50 credit :rotfl: £20 electric in 4 weeks?0 -

I pay £84 a month for my gas and leccy, on the cheapest tariff!! But thats to put us in credit for heating in the winter. £450 for 3 months we paid at the coldest last year before I changed the tariffMummy to

MOTM is prattling on about going to the police about a PM he claims to have received. The post you quoted from me was in response to his accusation that i sent the abusive PM from the other night.
The post you then quoted from him was his failed attempt at turning the focus onto me, despite the fact it is not me with gaping holes in my stories. No one has any reason to doubt what i've said and wonder if i'm living out a fantasy with an exaggerated online persona.
A couple of people responded to his accusation that my neighbours and kids don't actually exist, because they know that to be false.
MOTM has been extremely clever in getting people to feel sorry for him, by saying he's received abuse via PM. Well... suppose the PM doesn't exist..?* Then Tia and me are the only people to have said anything remotely 'bad' to him, and i don't think that warrants the army of people he has now feeling sorry for him. I'm pretty sure he can handle me and Tia himself.
And btw my post (which has now been deleted) actually only said that i don't think the police will care. I did not say i thought he was a fake, i merely speculated on what the PM (most likely) said.
* he claims to have sent this PM to several people, i guess you are one of them and can confirm whether it does exist or not?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I keep thinking it must be wrong as last month was cheap too, but we did change to British Gas instead of Scottish Power as the fly sh1ts were charging me £1 odds per week for having a key meter, I moved in with the chuffin thing here!
I used to use over £40 a month and this is a tiny 2 bed, but like I said before, we leave everything on, I do have energy saving bulbs everywhere but the kitchen and bog though, and thats cause the electrics in there are gammy and the bulbs constantly blow, and they are screw in bulbs so not those ones everyone got free, not paying £5 for a bulb to blow every 3 weeks!
Jesus at £450  Em! I pay standard gas charge at £8 a week (Was 6.50 when I moved in hmmph) and that's my heating/water. So that's maybe why I don't use much electric cause I don't have leccy heaters, though I can heat my water with the electric but OMG! When my boiler broke at Xmas, I had to use the electric to heat the water and it cost me £20 in 2 days. I didn't know you were only supposed to flick the switch for an hourI left it on!!

ick, just seen a really upsetting photo from the Pakistan flood aftermath
Really annoyed at the person that posted the link (on twitter)without even a hint of warning to its content.
Anyhoo in an effort to lift mood0 -
Completely off topic, has anyone had any experience of Tesco sofas? I've sat on one in their shop which was really nice and really comfy too but OH wont have leather/faux leather so he wont let me get the one we've tested. If I go for the equivalent priced one in fabric (i.e. third cheapest) is it likely to be the same quality and comfyness? And if I hate it can I send it back?Mummy to

I've not seen any of those pictures thank god Sami, but I remember Idris was really upset after the tsunami because someone at his work kept sending horrid pictures of the dead bodies/destruction etc and one of his aunts and 2 year old nephew were killed when it hit Indonesia (visiting family)0

Exactly - MOTM pretty much accused Beenie of being the abusive PM-er (which is fair enough if that is what he believes although IMO if she wanted to be abusive, she would do it in public) but then he proceeded to lash out by making the same accusations of her that had been made of him i.e. that she is a fake persona.
But he accused me last night and I was the one who posted and called him names so Beenie did not deserve that at all.
Very much a case of trying to divert attention when it was me who accused him in the first place, yet he has said nothing to me. Only a few veiled threats in his posts and his 'friends' posts.
That in itself is strange.0 -
Our 2 bed house has zero insulation in the walls or loft and has ancient wooden sash windows not double glazing, thats why my bills were so high, it was freezing! I was quite happy to bung another jumper on S and I until his hands went blue indoors and then I gave in and put the heating on constant instead of having it on for half an hour here and there, as soon as it was on it warmed the place up nicely but it had to stay on. Rubbish! At least if we get stuck in this house again this winter we'll have the windows double glazed to make life a bit easier.Mummy to
