I'll have some of your cucumbers with my points - I have two cucumbers which are more like gherkins. I think it's just too cold up here for outdoor cucumbers.

Ah - we have a big greenhouse, that is the problem/solution! You are welcome to some if you come and fetch them (bit far for some veg though!). That reminds me, I took pictures on Sunday of the veg we picked - must pop them up on FB and link to them, so you can share in my "what are we going to do with all of these" ponderings. Will take some into nursery again on Monday I think.

And here was me about to say Malachi is the most common! Well it is round here. I don't know any Reubens or Levis, but there are a few little Malachis at L's school now. I think it's because there is one on Hollyoaks.

She's having fun, but has no wi-fi at the hotel. :(

Really? I'd just mentally appropriated it, but if we move back to the NW I'd prefer my hypothetical small son to have a slightly less common name. Having said that, the family name Husband wants to give a first son is one of the most common names around at the moment.

And I would never stay in a hotel without wifi

I'm logging off now, so that OH notices that i'm ignoring him deliberately when he gets in from work. :p

I've had so many lovely messages and well dones on here and on facebook after my victory today.

I text him to tell him at lunch time - and not a bleeding word from him.

I think he really wanted me to get locked up for libel so he would be right for once. Twerp! :rotfl:

  • Very quick post as I don't know what the hell is going on here, but whoever pm'd me under a different username with a barrel load of abuse (they've been reading this thread) your nastiness does not bother me enough to pm you in return.

I guess I've been lucky up until now, but knew it would happen one day. This must be what Tara was on about before she sadly left.

I apologise to all the lovely, helpful people on this thread for this negative post and will respond to your previous posts tomorrow, but some of the comments were unacceptable.

Thank you to all those who have helped of late. Your advice and thoughts have been helpful to us both, regardless of what others may lead you to believe.

3 – congratulations, have a bl00dy good holiday with it.

MOTM – Congratulations x 2, I was too late for the nuchal scan and didn’t bother with the triple test either as it wouldn’t have made a difference. I chose my ring but wasn’t allowed to wear it until the date we’d decided to announce our engagement (my 21st birthday)

Glam – table booked for 1.30 :) Yay for walking

Age Gap me 33 DH 47, eyebrows were raised at the beginning of our relationship as I was 18 and he was 31

Sami – I was trying to see if I could spot 2 very cute little boys, I was also looking for a P&T Pushchair too, we were there from 2pm to 4:30pm which wore us out so well done for 6 hours, aloe vera for the sunburn

EA – those cakes are brilliant

CAFC – I’m ND on FB – I wouldn’t let me put a message on the request to let you know who the heck I was :)

    Tia – Don’t go

Katie has been in a full size single since Monday, all going well so far, she loves it.

I also got her letter yesterday telling me about applying for school for her eek

Leave issues at work nearly sorted, entitlement sorted (I was right J) just got to get them to remove the leave that wasn’t (I either made the time up or didn’t take it), and that they got my leave entitlement for the first year wrong. I’m composing a very polite but detailed e-mail.

It’s taken me this long to catch up
