I only spotted that this morning, and did wonder.

Trading standards have just called me and told me american guy is sending me a cheque for £1200 today on condition I stop the smear campaign. :D

:j:j So pleased you have got your money back, but I'm still sorry it's not been done as graciously as it could have been.

How about Center Parcs for half term?

I have just been offered a mystery shopping job with double the fee as it has to be done today :j. Not quite my fortune but a helpful extra.

3 I found this while researching the other day, but it might be worth asking on one (or thirty ;)) of the autism pages you joined on FB to see if anyone has recommendations for similar in the UK.

SS, that looks brilliant! What a great idea.

We've actually got family recently moved to France - i'm looking through the properties to see if any are near to them.

If anyone is looking at setting up a business in the UK, this could be a good one.

    Going to rant:

Got the bus along to nursery with Keira as we were running late and it was raining. There was another young mum on the bus with her baby in a pram. She got off before us, and this smelly old man down the front started muttering and shouting stuff about unwed mothers and crossing himself (you know that hail mary? thing? Im not religious so I dunno what it means but I imagine you do it when you are shocked) anyways I am just thinking , Oh fgs if he says owt to me he's getting a mouthful - and SURPRISE he did, told me I was going to hell and that Keira was a b@stard  so I told him he was a fat smelly old !!!!!! and God don't let you into heaven if you stink of pizz.

then sauntered off leaving the bus driver :rotfl:

:rotfl: BM - but my lovely grandmother stunk of pizz a lot of the time. I hate to think of her getting a scrub-down from St Peter outside the pearly gates.

I'm sure your Gran had other redeeming features and wasn't shouting abuse at unwed mothers on buses :rotfl:

It was all I could think of to say, everything else involved mucho swear words and bop was with me, I don't think it would of made a good impact if I'm swearing at this dude and Keira is shouting at me for swearing. I'd just look the biggest idiot :p
  • BM - well done on not being intimidated by him - sanctimonious !!!!! I always remember my SIL helping me in town just after I had Amelie - she was 14 at the time, and some old bloke starting going on about teenage mothers etc and gave her a lecture on keeping her legs closed! I was starting just behind him at the time, tapped him on the shoulder and gave him a right mouthful about being judgemental, not to mention, wrong!!!!!
