I'm looking for a mobile phone for my son's birthday, so looking to spend £100 or less, and he has requested a touch screen with a stylus.

I don't know much about these, and wondered if anyone can suggest or recommend a touch screen with integrated stylus?

My 15yr old daughter just bought a HTC smart,it's a touch screen although it doesn't come with a stylus you could use one with it if you wanted.

It looks great is very neat ,displays the temperature, where you are ect.

Lg cookie has a stylus - mildly useful .. it does have a basic doodling program when you can use it a bit.

I have the T-Mobile Pulse Mini, and that has the Android OS and MarketPlace for getting new Apps on the phone. Its only £99 and has a stylus to boot due to its small compact size. I would question what use your son may have for a stylus. Touchscreen phones are designed around finger use these days and very few would have a stylus unless the screen was too small for proper use with the finger.

If your son is like any other curious kid out there, he would most certainly want to do a bit more than just standard calls and texting, so I would recommend looking at getting a phone that has the Symbian or Android OS (operating system) as both would allow him to install new apps, games, customisations, etc...which will reduce his boredom levels.

Nokia 5230/5530/5800 or the T-Mobile Pulse Mini gets my vote for a budget smartphone sub £100.

    Good luck.
