To get the maximum 7.46% AER return the FTSE has to rise by 4.5%+ in twelve consecutive six-month periods.
Personally I wouldn't touch it (or indeed any GEB-type product) with a bargepole.0 -

Many thanks! I felt very uneasy about it, but they were continually quoting the 54% possible return!
Since the issue of the half opened 4yr 4% ISA and their cancelling of it after encouraging me to fund it, I'm not overly impressed with Newcastle to say the least.Any information given in my posts or replies is intended to be of interest and/or help to members of the forum.
