Tesco sim card billing...confused!!

As I have decided to wait for apple to sort out reception problems before i buy iphone, i went and bought a monthly Tesco sim card fro £15/month (500 min, unlimited texts and data). I received the sim today and activated it. Tesco told me that my billing date is the 16th of the month and money will be collected on the first day of the month. they also told me that i will have the full 500 minutes for this month untill the 16th of july but i am not sure of that!!!!is that true? sorry if it sounds stupid question

    Exactly what happened to me - not a problem.

    Used just over 400mb of data in a fortnight until my first billing date, and loads of minutes and didnt get charged any extra

    That sounds about right. You can always check the balance of your minutes as you go along to see what you have left.

    thanks for that...how can you check your balance with tesco? is there a special number?
