I've just ordered a man's size Medium and a ladies size 14 using the code works out at £29.75 each. Fingers crossed we get a good selection!

I've ordered a size 8 bag after a lot of deliberation, so fingers crossed!

My bag is going back don't care about the cost. just so disappointed having read other posts on the great stuff they had received. My bag had two long sleeved polo necks a black and a greyish colour, a skimpy lime green vest top, a grey tunic in joggy trouser fabric, and the only thing that I could wear a plain white t-shirt. Could not be £100 worth, lucky if it was even the £35. Will not be drawn in for "goody bags" again.

I'd definitely give them a second chance, and ring customer service to exchange yours.
  • I have just ordered a size 14 so will let you all know what I get. I was waiting for my size to come back into stock.x
  • Help! I now have a moral dilemma. Today, I received a 2nd lucky dip bag. I only ordered & paid for one, but now have two...
I quite like the stuff in both bags (2nd bag contains, leggings, tunic top, knitted waistcoat, vest top & notebook) so am not motivated to return anything because it's hideous.
But seeing as the People Tree are a lovey-dovey good for the planet company, I feel I should show the same love & return their mistake.....or shall I treat their mistake as a karmic gift from the gods for letting cars out at junctions in rush hour?

I don't see what the dilema is. It is dishonest to keep the second one.

What a bizarre idea! Quite exciting though :)
  • Well I received my 'replacement item' but... they sent me another goody bag!

I've emailed to ask them about it. I'm hoping they'll let me keep it but if they want me to return or pay for it I'll pay for it as I really like this one. (I'll be a pain though and still ask for a replacement item for the other bag if I have to pay for this bag.)

    I had:
    -Notepad - of course!
-Some really nice grey/beige cotton trousers/tracksuit bottoms/pjs. Lovely and wonderfully soft but look awful on me. Will charity shop.
-A cotton jersey cardie in pale aqua. A good staple and I've just had to recycle a cardie in this colour as I'd worn it to death.
-A white vest stop (same as other bag but without the stain)
-A cotton and silk mix knee length A-line skirt. Navy blue with delicate gold swirly embroidery and beads on the waist and a tie on the side. Very me and lovely. In fact something I'd have bought.

As I say I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll let me keep it but if not I'll pay for it.

I got a size 18 bag today. I have to say I'm disappointed - but maybe only because I got such a fab bag last year.
    1. Bright red like this It's a nice dress and I like the colour, but it's really not flattering on me
    2. 1 3/4 sleeved white cotton jersey top. It's really thin.
    3. 1 long sleeved grey jersey top. Good fit and a good staple.
    4. white knickers
    5. Obligatory notebook.

So, there's nothing really wrong with any of it. But I wouldn't have gone out and bought anything except the grey top. I appreciate the range in a size 18 is much (much!) more limited. But last year I got 2 fab dresses, 2 vests and a top, so I am disappointed. Think I might send it back as I really don't see me getting the wear out of the dress - even if the diet keeps going in the right direction!

I just received a man's Medium bag, and it has
    1. A plain cream t-shirt
    2. A thin grey zip up hoody
    3. A smart black shirt with thin white stripes
    4. A more casual white shirt with pastel stripes.

I also received a size 14 Women's bag for me:
    1. A plain cream v-neck t-shirt
    2. A plain white round neck (gathered fabric at the neckline) t-shirt
    3. A red patterned Summer dress with teeny tiny straps that go around your neck - so not me since I need rather more support than I could wear under it.
    4. A rather bizarre thick black tank top with a lion on it and the words 'School of Fair Trade'.
    5. Notebook

Very happy with the man's bag, and I'm happy with the two t-shirts in mine. Not sure it was worth the money but I suppose I may wear the dress on holiday with another top underneath. Goodness only know what I'll do with the tank top!
  • Yay! Spoke to a lovely lady today who said that because it was their fault I can keep the second bag they sent by mistake. Plus, the stain came out of the vest when I washed it so I'm a happy bunny. MIL had the tracksuit bottoms and I'll ebay the dress. Everything else I'll wear.

Very impressed with People Tree customer services too.
