It was a size 14, afterwards (after reading other posts) I realised I probably should have gone for a 12, given that I am between sizes but I always go up rather than down.
I haven't tried the stuff on yet, it does look a little on the big side but most of it is adjustable and anything else I'll try and adjust myself if needed (lol)

recieved my second bag today - 1 duplicate from first bag, two pairs of trousers which would be ok on someone of about 5 foot 4 but no good for my 36" inside legs, a black wrap top and a blue jersey dress/tunic which is nice but HUGE

shame really - keeping the dresses from my first bag going to ebay the rest I think

Hello (I feel like I'm sneaking in from my usual hangout on the up your income board!)

I ordered a size 18 bag on the 1st. Phoned them yesterday to follow up as it hadn't arrived. The chap in customer services explained that they had actually run out of stock on that day (even though I ordered at 8.30am!) but that the website hadn't kept up. They are now back in stock, and mine was posted on Friday, so don't give up hope anyone who hasn't received theirs yet.

I spent far too long yesterday looking at what dresses they make in an 18, and speculating!

My size 12 bag arrived on Sat morning. I got:

black and white checked shift dress with 3/4 sleeves and self tie belt
green/navy swirl top with elasticated neck
grey/red top as above (size 8!)
lilac light cotton top with large ruffle on the front
Black/red/grey jersey top with batwing sleeves with strange extra arm hole in the under arm area :think:

The dress is a higher neckline than I normally wear (usually like v or scoop necks) but I will wear it to work.
I like the swirl tops, the size 12 I have to wear with a belt as it's baggy around the tummy and makes me look pregnant again, strangely enough the 8 fits me better around my body (no need for belt) but irritates me under my arms after a while.
The lilac top caused my children to burst out laughing when I put it on. Does not suit me at all!
The other jersey top is ok, would have preferred normal sleeves though but my sons likes me in it!

All in all I am quite happy and will keep the whole bag (despite the size error on one of the tops!). Might try ebaying the lilac ruffly top.

I am so disappointed! I've been considering a goody bag for ages having been on the People Tree mailing list for a few years. Was just about to place my order for one when the MSE email came out and they sold out (a month ago they were giving them away but I couldn't get my order placed in time as I was away). Thought I had managed to order last Weds 8th when they were back in stock but just called to be told I have been unlucky and the rest of my order has gone out without a goody bag. More are expected but they can't guarantee I'll get one so have refunded me the £30. Really upset now, especially when I've read the nice things others have got. :-(

I ordered a size 18 and a size 16 (not sure which would be best as I am inbetween) on the 8th but no luck for me so far? Hope your right and they turn up as the money went off of my card quite a while ago. :eek:

Firstly I find the tone of your reply a little offensive, the site may have said that they're out of stock but I thought I'd try to order & see what happened and it let me.

I did expect an email confirming that they were out of stock but have not yet had one and the money has left my bank so hopefully my bag will arrive in the next day or two.
