    Hi all.

I ordered my size 10 bag on Friday 23rd and it arrived this morning. I was quite apprehensive that I would be left with all the dregs. But I am really pleased with my bag! I got:

    Red knee length cotton skirt
    Hyacinth 40's style tea dress
    Lime green cowl neck top
White t-shirt with the motive "unexploited" on the front
Blue and white striped vest top
    A glass bead keyring
    A Peopletree notepad

I also got the free gift of earrings and neckless which was advertised on the homepage!

Well worth £27. I would love to order another one but think I should wait for their next sale and get in there early next time! :o

My order from July 23rd arrived this morning.

    Blue/white patterned sundress
    Purple striped shirtwaister dress/tunic
    Green V necked T shirt
White T shirt with screen print
    Notebook
    Necklace & earrings.

I can't say I would have bought any of it had I seen it in store.
The thing now is whether I take it to Oxfam -(as penance on the basis I was daft enough to order it sight unseen in the first place) - or return it.

I feel a bit mean returning it on the basis it is pot luck and I just didn't like what I got. :(

Got my second bag today - much better than the first. I got a white tunic top with blue swirly print - very nice, a red t-shirt, a blue sarong type wrap around long skirt, a long lilac long sleeved heavy cotton t-shirt dress (very plain and not at all attractive but I'm sure I'll be able to jazz it up a bit in winter), a pair of green jersey pedal pushers, a jute bag and a people tree notebook. really pleased and will try these again in a few months.

    Bake Off Boss!
Mine has arrived this morning & I am quite pleased with mine. I ordered a size 16 as I am that size on the bust & a 14 or less on my hips. Size 14 would definately not have fitted on the bust.

    My bag contained
1 red & white square neck sun top
    1 green tee shirt
1 green/blue striped shirt dress with button front & embroidery on shoulders
1 pinky purple stripeed shirt dress (same as green one)
    1 People Tree notepad

Will definately wear the 2 tops. With the two dresses I may wear them as they are with trousers for winter or I may shorten them a little to make them into tunics or a lot to make them into blouses. So indecisive!

Thanks to OP & everyone for sharing what they have received.
  • I've been trying to resist buying one of these ever since this thread started, but the more I read, the more I want one!

I'd get a size 12 but I'm pretty sure as I've left it so late I'll be getting the dregs! Anything that comes in a 'lucky bag' seems to appeal to my childish side :o

I know say " Lucky Bag" and I'm four years old again !

That said, I'm obviously not that easy to please and I'll stick to
    choosing specific items in future.

Ha ha - so true! Sadly I'm the same when I see a tombola. I normally don't even want the prizes & give them to the charity shop! :p

Hi LusiVe! i bet u had a sigh of relief there!
I posted mine the other day and it cost me £4.50, standard. so i cannot trace the package. if i would have wanted it registered, it will cost me £8.50 which i think is toomuch so bit the bullet and send it standard and hoping really hard it will not get lost.

i am happy for those who had lovely goody bags! and 6 piece as well. probably it depends on the size as well and when u put my order.. i put my order nearly the time it went oos.

You can get a certificate of posting for nowt and it is proof you have sent ther items back HTH x

    Oh dear, I caved in!
  • Hi all,

Thinking of ordering one of these goodie bags - everyone seems to have done so well out of theirs.

But i am a size 8, and worried their size 8 will be too big?

Do you think I should risk it?

    Thanks,

    Dom
