You cannot use a free delivery promotion in the sale.
See point 9 in the sale information, it says,
This VIP sale offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, including free delivery offers.0 -
Sorry hate to burst anyones bubble BUT . . . . . wouldnt bother with the VIP slot - waste of time.
Spent all of last night browsing the VIP preview list and wrote down 31 items that I wanted to buy, decided to show my daughter tonight what I had picked - only to discover only 6 of the 31 selected items left or that only have a couple of sizes left. How is the possible?
The vip slot for buying doesnt start til 7 am on friday morning, as far as I know. Totally disgusted and reckon this is just a bit of a scam on the part of Next. Not happy and will not be using the slot - useless.:mad:Trying to claim flight delay compensation from British Airways0 -
Don't forget that the Couriers and staff had their turn first followed by the first VIP slots on Weds at 7pm. Looking at the VIP list now compared to when I ordered yesterday, there is hardly anything good left.
What time can one order via the Next website on Sat? I remember years gone by when I was on hold for hours trying to place an order over the telephone, so will try the website to see if they have anything of interest. I assume the VIP sale is just a preview so the sale listing should be bigger - and better.0 -

Maybe there were some pre-booked VIP slots earlier today? Did anyone have a Thurs slot? Mine was last night, when there was lots of stock but the site was amazingly mind numbingly slow, lol
I've also got multiple delivery charges, e-mailed Next and asked them to remove all but one, they promptly mailed back and told me they'd removed one charge (!) never mind, I'll contact them again when stuff starts arriving - I certainly wont be paying 11 odd delivery charges!!0 -

A friend of mine had a slot yesterday evening, I had one from 07.00- 23.00 today and I still got loads of stuff, obviously not everything I maybe would of liked, but some heavily discounted items.
But its a sale, its supposed to be Next clearing the shelves of what they've not managed to sell at full price, therefore it stands to reason that what they have will go quickly and your not going to get everything you want.
I was more than happy.:hello:0 -

The first slot was Wednesday 7-11pm, then I think there was another at 9-11pm. Another slot was this morning, and probably later on as well.
At the end of the day it is a sale, and things go quickly. I was fortunate enough to get into the very first slot, so got most things I wanted. I missed out last year though, so it's just the way it goes I'm afraid.0 -
If anybody wants to order via the telephone on Saturday morning (probably faster than via the website), don't ring the Next orderline on the expensive 0844 number. You will likely be on hold for a while. Don't think I can list numbers on here, but visit the Saynoto0870 website and you'll find some alternative numbers which will work out much cheaper. I think that telephone orders begin before the online orders, but I could be mistaken.
Can we view what items will be on sale this Saturday online yet?0 -
