And not just Regulations. Also directly effective Directives and case law together with Decisions.0 -
I tend to disagree. It is, as it is only due to an Act of Parliament that EU law can currently preside over UK law. Parliament could change it readily, so that EU does not preside over UK law. The UK would also most likely have to leave the EU though.0 -

Well it is actually debatable as to whether the European Communities Act 1972 can actually be repealed...
Seem to remember Lord Denning talking about EU law many years ago when he said that it is like an incoming tide, flowing into the estuaries and into the rivers. It cannot be held back.0 -
