Claim against Ryanair

I am taking Ryanair to court to recover costs incurred as a result of them not abiding by their obligations under EU law during the recent flight disruptions earlier this year.

They have made an offer which is typically unfair, and I have rejected it on a point of principle as much as anything else.

Is anyone else going down the same route as it would be good to compare notes?

    That is never a reason to take anyone to Court. Proceed by all means if you have a strong claim.

    My post indicates that I am taking them to court for breach of contract.

    I am happy to share details if I can identify with others in a similar situation.

    So what you want is everyone else's tales of Ryanair and then if one maybe fits you'll divulge your story......


    righhhhhht you may be waiting a while or maybe you could just search the forums for previous Ryanair threads regarding this matter?

    Without details you'll just get people telling you off for saying its unfair because without details of what they've done, for all we know you're one of them eejits that spouts about secret laws and knowing their rights and generally being completely outraged when they're misunderstood or simply ignorant.

    And please remember, not all EU laws overrule UK laws, and some EU "laws" are simply guidelines..........which usually means they are not legally enforcable.

    To be fair directly applicable and effective EU law prevails over domestic law. Sadly.
