Is it permissible to wear a bum bag on Ryan Air ?
Just basically to keep spec's and money etc in. Or is it considered hand baggage ?
Also I keep getting mixed info regarding cabin baggage, my case is 55cm high without the wheels, I went to the airport and tried it in the cage, it slotted in easily, was ok width and depth with room to spare, the height just reached the bar at the front, so as it did not project above it I assume it will be ok.... hopefully.

I personaly think it would be counted as luggage, like a handbag. As long as you can fit it in your other peice of hand luggage, that's fine.
If it fits in the test rack then it will be fine.0 -
Make sure your shirt/jacket covers it up so they don't see it!.....0

Tip: conceal bumbag under clothes, even if it means wearing a coat in hot weather.0

It is debatable whether it is classed as a handbag or not, it could be classed as a belt and it is something that you wear, not carry, but who knows, they will have their own rules to catch you out.
We will wear one under our clothes, we are looking at wearing tracky bottoms over cargo shorts or crops, and a jumper which we can take off when we get there.
Hope we don't get searched, one of us usually does.
They are so keen at our local airport,on being searched hubby once told them he was wearing a money belt under his clothes and they took him to a room to strip down to his underpants to show them and they took credit cards and the money out to check.0
