  • How disappointing Sunbury Extra are still charging £1.00 per item !
  • My local Tesco just put up the 3 for 2 signs on the £1 range yesterday I think.

Great bargains in the Student range, pillow slips for 38p, double duvet set for £3.78, the circular mats are now £1.41 and the drum thingy with 4 socket adapters are £1.24 plus others :)

The £1 and the 1p items are now coming up as BOGOF (buy one get one free) instead of 3 for 2.

    Happy shopping.

I found the bricketts I got from asda were really smokey - much worse than charcoal lumpwood stuff I usually use and I ended up stinking of woodsmoke all night after I had BBQ'd - maybe I just had a bad batch or are they all like that???
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!
  • Hi there, just thought this was a really good deal, I was in Tesco's last night and notice that they are doing BOGOF on all their £1 white label items that they have in boxes at the end of the shelves. Anyway they do 4 pack blank dvd+rs so you get 8 for £1, even cheaper than poundland!!!!
:jWaiting for the comping fairy to arrive, a big thank you to all that post comps:j

OK they are 12.5p each, but you will pay for the cheapness later.

Cheap DVDR do not last, and would only be good for throwaway stuff. NEVER use cheap blanks to burn data you want to last any decent amount of time.

I've learnt the hard way as I watched a backup die on me. If you need to archive data use Ridisc Xtreme or similar, it's more expensive but worth every penny.
