Symantec suggests that you can also partially remove it via the control panel: uninstall Zango search tool

    Please restart computer!

Sorry just saw log. You seem to have a few other adwares there which I don't think came with the Zango - although I may be wrong.

First see if you can uninstall the programme from control panel. Even if you can or can not, I think run combofix. I don't know how to read the log but others will be able to.

    Instructions written by alienRIK:
    Please run Combofix
    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
    Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out
If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download

I did the combofix run and it said it would take approx 10 mins so I had a shower and when I looked it had vanished but I couldn't connect to the internet and had to restart my computer.

I did run it but it said it would take about 10 mins so I went to have a shower and then when I came back nothing was up. I have no idea where it went. I did try to log on the internet but my connection was down so had to restart it.

Go to desktop. Then press the windows button and the 'r' button.
The run dialogue will appear so type the following words in bold: C:\Combofix.txt
should hopefully find it if it exists.

No, it's not there. I have an idea it just collapsed and didn't work. Thanks for all your help though, I really appreciate it. By the way is it safe to log onto my bank account as i'm worried to do that in case they get my passwords?

I don't think it just collapses... I would wait for a signal from alienRIK before online banking.
Combofix not only fixes things but also produces a log of what has happened to your computer and unless someone looks at that, it's a bit risky to say your computer is absolutely safe.
