Deleting CRAWLER from my computer

Symantec suggests that you can also partially remove it via the control panel: uninstall Zango search tool

Please restart computer!
Sorry just saw log. You seem to have a few other adwares there which I don't think came with the Zango - although I may be wrong.
First see if you can uninstall the programme from control panel. Even if you can or can not, I think run combofix. I don't know how to read the log but others will be able to.
Instructions written by alienRIK:
Please run Combofix
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out
If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download0 -
I did the combofix run and it said it would take approx 10 mins so I had a shower and when I looked it had vanished but I couldn't connect to the internet and had to restart my computer.0

I did run it but it said it would take about 10 mins so I went to have a shower and then when I came back nothing was up. I have no idea where it went. I did try to log on the internet but my connection was down so had to restart it.0

Think there should be a: Combofix.txt somewhere on your computer?0
-
If there is I cannot find it

Go to desktop. Then press the windows button and the 'r' button.
The run dialogue will appear so type the following words in bold: C:\Combofix.txt
should hopefully find it if it exists.0 -
No, it's not there. I have an idea it just collapsed and didn't work. Thanks for all your help though, I really appreciate it. By the way is it safe to log onto my bank account as i'm worried to do that in case they get my passwords?0
-
I don't think it just collapses... I would wait for a signal from alienRIK before online banking.
Combofix not only fixes things but also produces a log of what has happened to your computer and unless someone looks at that, it's a bit risky to say your computer is absolutely safe.0 -
re-boot in safe mode and run combofix from there.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple
