I'm gonna neg saying
Seller went on holiday before posting. Ignored most emails. Item arrived 14 days after immediate payment.
And I will try Karen Millen but suspect I will have to re sell the dress. It's very nice - anyone need a lovely party dress? lol!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

skintchick....you're going to neg her saying:

please let me know how you intend to get that many characters in a feedback comment???
Also....please remember that as a Poweseller...one neg will hardly affect her rating.......what will it do to yours?
You should just have left it at the PO...after 3 weeks they'd have returned it to her....if i had known then what i know now0 -

We can't keep doing this though. Ebay is going to keep gettign worse if this is how people react. Negs are fine if you respond to them maturely. You can tell the people who left a retailatory neg.

This type of thing has happened to me before.... I have just learnt to ask the seller before the auction ends whether they would be able to send it by a certain day. If they don't get back to you, don't buy it!
Also worth remembering is that some people don't have the same decent morals as you!!:smileyheaRachel xx0 -
If she negs you in return, just post the same details you used to neg her with. A mature response won't reduce your selling or purchasing power!I have a lot of respect for people who give an honest negative on ebay as so many people run scared.Good luckx x0

if i know i definatly need an item sent by a certain date i usually ask the seller if that would happen b4 i bid,but as soo says 7 days is the accepted maximum usually(not a rule though)
i would just stick it back on e-bay and see how much you get,u never know you might get your money back or better but if it goes for less at least you have cut down on your losses.

I shall simply edit until it does fit - that's the advantage of being a journalist. I don;t know how many characters I get but I can get it to fit.
I think we should be prepared to neg even if it affects us more as otherwise it makes a mockery of the feedback system.
Anyway - she has emailed me now that eBay got in touch about her incorrect contact details (apparently they threatened to suspend her!) and has offered me a refund.
Thanks all for your advice and help.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Another way round in future is that sellers have to contact the buyer within 3 working days.
However without getting a definite "I will post tomorrow if you pay tonight" response from the seller its a bit cheeky to neg them since you "assumed" they would somehow know it was urgent - personally I would neutral them since they didn't send for 2 weeks and going away on holiday without informing the buyer is pretty poor - however they completed their side of the contractual bargain and sent the goods as described. As a seller if I was in that position then a refund and apology would be in order however not many sellers will have dead phone numbers to complain about.
Alls well though in the end ...0
