What to do with my old sky+ box??

For nearly all of the 'free' channels you won't need a viewing card. There are a few exceptions, one of which is Channel 5 - it's something to do with the broadcasting licence on the sky platform.
You can get a 'freesat from sky' card to get access to the missing channels - it is a oneoff fee of £20, but apart from Channel 5 it is literally only 3 or 4 others. I've had a quick look but can't find anything to state what they are.You don't need a card for Ch5 - although it doesn't appear on the EPG, you do have to add it as one of the "other channels"I would love to add Ch5...but can't find the 'other channels' bit that you refer to...can you help me find it??
thanks
Services-4-Add Cannels.
Then programme the tuning info for Ch5.0
