Nope, thats cheap @ £50, very cheap!

Orange do UMA which means you can connect to Orange via wifi....handy, & not just at home.
If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me

signal boosters/repeaters are available from £90 upwards for vodafone/02 frequencies.

keep in mind that voda sure signal doesn't work on every type of broadband.

That is misleading. It will work on over 99% of domestic broadband connections.

£50 is very cheap for the Sure Signal, I know instore they let you add it to your plan for £5 a month for 18 months at least? Which works out more than £50.

£5 month for 12 months - ie you pay £60 instead of £50.

I'm switching to Voda at the moment because of dodgy signal at home, I think I should be ok, but if not, will they haggle on the price?

No idea why they would have said that.

You need a speed of at least 1mbps and the most basic Virgin account has a speed of ten times that.
