I remember feeling like that SF. Just try to take ultra-good care of yourself - eat well, try to get plenty of sleep and some fresh air. You'll get through it and before you know it you'll be on hols.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)

Sounds like there's a few out there feeling down at mo lets all have a big cuddle:grouphug:

I'm feeling v v tired tonight think I'm going to tootle off to bed. Had to share DS bed whilst folks here over the weekend and hardly slept a wink - it's catching up with me today.

Running low on food but really can't be bothered to go supermarket shopping. It's not too bad but DS is having a little moan cos we've no drinks in that he likes...

I've been reading a book about food combining and it's actually really interesting. I'd read about it on internet cos I have digestive problems and it was 'buy this book and you'll be cured';) Anyway being MSE an all all I hunted a book down in the library:D and it makes a lot of sense so trying that out at the mo, s'posed to help you lose weight too so that'll be a bonus if it works!

Ok, too tired - I'm off to bed. Goodnight all x

Thanks Jayne, I love those rather interesting looking group hugs! :D

I'm interested in the food combining - do tell us how it works for you when you've time and energy. Hope you catch up on your sleep tonight - I'm no good for anything unless I have my quota. Nightie night x

Hope you sleep well Erme. Zispin isn't an SSRI, but it does boost a few of the feel good chemicals including serotonin. It made me very sleepy when I was on it so I took it before bedtime. Take care hon. x

  • Hello all

Am still here :) after my traumatic yr ;) - finally have my CSA decision - i will be a full £5 week better off now (he is on JSA apparently and so i get the 5.00 for 3 kids) - now i am not being sarcastic! 7 years we were together and i have always paid everything so to me this is a lot!! It covers the cost of milk at least :)

In other news: my swim school is growing MORE - i have a waiting list, am fully booked on Sat and Sun's and now runnign 2hrs on a Tue too - most of you were with me in January when i first started with 1hour a week and 30 swimmers and now i am running 6hrs week and 150 swimmers with 7 teachers who work for me :) Am so so pleased and proud :)

Also now almost 34 weeks pregnant and after my scan last tue i am having a BOY (so boy 6, girl 4, boy 2 and baby boy due nov) - have almost everything i need now thanks to some very very genorous friends and family (been given cot, moses basket, steriliser, bottles, baby carriers etc) - all i am missing is a pram/pushchair but i still have stroller from my 2 yr old (who will be 3 in nov) so i am hoping i can use that. Also have car seat and clothes sorted too!!! Total cost so far for new baby stands at around £50 (i bought a breast pump as essential and a few newborn outfits on ebay) - I used some of the healthy start 190 grant for this as i get my 5 a day (as do kids) from growing our own and supplements from riverford :)

My new system is working well so far - each category has envelope and the cash goes in at the beginning of the month - Sept was my first month and i was pretty spot on :) - envelopes now refilled for Oct. Will carry this on till Dec and then go back to tracking EVERYTHING. Even though i had the 2 mth 'break' i obviously still was very very careful (habit) and my savings account is back up to 1150 (pretty good as i had to fork out deposit and first mths rent again when i left their dad!)

After my gym joining for £25 mth i now go to 4-5 classes a week while youngest goes to creche (staff rate :T) and the older 2 at school and i am fit and healthy and 7.5lb lighter than when i fell pregnant :) - i am lighter so i eat less (so counteracts some of cost) and i can get more done!

Will try best not to leave so long to post again as i have waffled enough - i do read daily though! Well done everyone :)
DFW since JAN 2009 - 2014 will be the year i finally clear debts :) Just to see which month :))))

Natalie, you are incredible, a real inspiration!!!:T:T:T I did think you were being sarcastic about the fiver! Not long to go now before your new little boy arrives but you sound like you're well ready for it.

    Hi all,

Natalie, glad things are going ok for you. Congrats on your swim school you've done fantastically well.

Nuala, I've only just started with the food combining so will let you know how it goes when I've given it a little while. Ive found it a bit difficult already. Was out yesterday (was being filmed as an extra - exciting eh?) and had sandwiches provided, it's actually virtually impossible to eat sandwiches when food combining. Now I'm not a huge fan of bread so that's not normally a problem but when that's your only option it's a bit difficult. Not too worried though as the book says don't stress yourself if you have to stray occasionally. Just get back on board next meal.

Finally dragged myself to Aldi so kids all happy that there's food in now.

Just been updating my spreadsheet and checking my bank statement. I bought 2 huge sacks of chicken food online a couple of weeks ago and I just cannot find where I paid it from. It's not on my bank statement so not paid on my debit card (which what I thought I'd used) I checked my credit card staements (even though I don't use them anymore, but may have had some sort of brain malfunction - not beyond the realms of possibliity these days...) but not on there either, so I'm stumped, don't know how I paid but they've sent the stuff so I must've somehow...

Anyway off to bed now, still feeling absolutely shattered - don't know what's up with me.

    Take care all x

Is it possible they process payments manually and just haven't put yours through yet? Don't you have a receipt of some sort though? Most I get give the last few digits of the card I used, so I can work out which statement/account to monitor from that :)
