  • My kids broke up yesterday!! We're in Northern Ireland and the kids here get nearly 9 weeks off every summer, from 1st July (sometimes earlier if they're older) until the 1st September. It's a nightmare!!

I guess it depends what you are doing and where you are going as to how likely you are to encounter hoards of kids?!

I want to go anywhere thats hot and had a pool and in the pool I want to play diving and swimming races!

I am so serious! Kids just get in the way and means I cant play my own games!

Thompson Gold sounds like your best bet! no kids allowed any time of year I dont think - my MIL and FIL go on them every year - she works in a school and has had enough in the summer! Mine finish 23rd July!

I really wish I had realised sooner, as a Childfree family, these things kind of pass you by!

Will look into Thompson Gold but, I like to go clubbing as well, do your family say they are kinda 'oldies' resorts, no offense!

One of the guys at work (and his missus) swear by thompson gold (and they are late 30's)

Does that make them old i don't know? :rotfl:

As far as i understand it just means the hotel is kid free not the resort (they don't have pied piper / kid catchers...)
