transfer 2 old cash isa's for a better rate...but not pay in this year?

Can you guys help me, I've already opened a Barclays Golden ISA(Issue 2) and paid in the full allowance for the year. But I've got 2 old ISA's on which the rates are awful. Just need to find a provider that doesn't mind taking these 2 old ISA's without me paying in this year's allowance. I tried Lloyds TSB for their Cash ISA Saver as it allows transfers but I can't open it as it needs a minimum of £1 to open it?

Please help I'm trying my hardest to get everything in order to get the best rates for all my money.

Thanks
Kam

Are you trying to open it online?

If you are, go into branch and open it. The staff can override, or put a false £1 in. Halifax do this.

That way you open it with £0 and transfer in.

Double check with them, but I was under the impression it was a minimum investment of £1 and a transfer from a previous ISA would be an investment.
For myself I am an optimist - there does not seem to be much use being anything else.

You could try ING direct. It's online, but they will accept this.

I transferred my old ISA into the Halifax fixed rate and I'm not putting this year's allowance there, so it is possible.
