Selling old mobile- how to clear data?

catt_2

I have two old mobile for selling or recycling.

I heard personal data is stored on the sim and on the phone. So removing the sim card is not enough.

Will performing a factory reset clear all data and how do I do this?

Soory, havr googled but I'm not a techie!:o

i think a factory reset will clear everything but you might need the handset pin code to do this. HTH!

It's not like pressing delete on a pc then, which doesn't actually clear everthing?

A factory reset will clear everything. As to how, it's different for each handset, Just google the handset type and factory reset, it should come up.

Like other users said a factory reset will do the trick

Also did you use this site http://mobilevaluer.com/ to make sure you are getting the best money

I used it today after getting around £80 on most sites and ended up getting £108 so worth a look
