I was on the 4Mbit broadband and free starter TV for £19.99/month, have had this extended for another 12 months, I also have Freeview and satellite (was subscribed to Sky as Sky beats cable easily, but not long after the start of the year, I decided as we weren't watching a great deal of TV anymore, I'd stop paying for Sky).

I'd say having free satellite (100+ channels) and Freeview or a free cable package is more than enough for us now.

We dumped th BT landline a year ago now, and use a PAP2 ATA with VoIP Stunt and Sipgate, haven't looked back.
