Flybe customer call centre

I booked a domestic flight last week from Aberdeen to Birmingham for September. Booked everything okay online until I needed to book extra baggage (i.e golf bag). The site informs you that you cannot book extra baggage on line, you must telephone the call centre.
So for the last week I have tried telephoning the number given and it either says "lines are busy but we will get to you as soon as ......" or it suddenly disconnects. I have now spent in excess of 2 hours waiting on this phone number, which by the way, costs 10p per minute.
I am now getting exasperated because there is no other number to call - I even tried the 'customer relations' number, yes you guessed it, same response.
Can anyone suggest what else I can do please?

Hi Oldspot
While it may not help with your immediate problem of getting your baggage sorted I have a suggestion for call centre queueing generally: There is a system called OrderlyQ which, when the call centre is busy, reserves a place in the queue for you and tells you when to call back. When you call again you are the next person to be answered. The software needs to be installed by the call centre so - if you ever do get through to Flybe - ask them why they don't use OrderlyQ. Have a look at their website for more info.Macintosh, iPhone, iPad and Web development0 -

What a stupid and irrelevant post.
