What does everyone do when they see red crosses next to items? I had a couple last order but they were products for me, so I just removed them from the order. This time around, I suspect there'll be some next to C14 clearance products customers have ordered. I'd like to leave them on the order in case there's last-minute stock coming in (returns or whatever). If I leave them on the order will I be charged for them, then have to put in a "product not received" code? I was told by my SL that I'm in "band A/stream A", which means I probably won't have trouble with stock levels in general.

    Thanks.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
  • I, Geek - leave them on your order! They are OOS at that time but a lot can happen between you submitting your order and packing day. They might have some unopened returns, or another delivery. Or, typically Avon, they might just change their mind.

If they are OOS and no further stock expected you won't be charged for them. If they are OOS and more stock is expected, you'll be charged for them when they finally arrive.

Plus even if they are OOS they still count towards your Presidents Club sales I believe?

Yes leave them on - avon sometimes get stocks in all of a sudden (possibly from returns) so worth leaving them on, the stock indicators are guides only, you only know what you're getting when your order actually turns up! But no, you won't be charged for them unless you actually receive them, would be a lot more work for both avon & reps alike otherwise!

  • Lozza1985 - do you know if OOS items still count towards your PC sales?

I think they used to, but not sure that they still do as people abused it...could be wrong though! I know they should count towards hitting mov/hov though, but don't think they actually count towards PC.

    Hi

I've been reading the thread with interest, thanks to all of you who post it's really helped me with my first campaign :).

    I have a little question...

I was just about to send my first Avon order, but an alert came up telling me it wasn't due yet, although I have to submit it by 10pm today. I'd like to send the order now as I'm not going to be around much today, will this be ok? Should I just ignore the alert message?

    Thanks

Yes it did occur to me how easy it would be to abuse!!

Hi Beencounting & welcome to the thread.

Yes, that message is a bit of an odd one - sometimes I don't get it when I've submitted a day early! Firstly I'd say just to double check on the front screen that your order is due in today (don't want you to miss out on another week of potential orders!), and if so you can just ignore the message.
