Yes we all have the same campaigns - though the whole country is staggered slightly, so some areas are already onto 15, while later areas have got well over a week yet.

If you've just started, then it could be whoever signed you up didn't give you the sale booklets - don't worry, they probably did it so that you didn't have to disappoint customers on your first campaign with items that are out of stock. When you are ordering your own brochures, you'll automatically be sent the right number of sale booklets.

Hmm, they should definatley be coming back to see you - especially if they haven't already given you your second lot of brochures for your next campaign as they have to provide them to you.

    Hi,
Could anyone let me know how good Avon is? I've recently enquired about it and I think I'm getting a call tomorrow about it.
Would really love to make something big out of it but scared about all the door to door bit?
I suppose from reading the article in the Daily Mail I've been given a push to give it a go. :o

Avon is as good as you make it - the door to door bit is fine, you don't have to knock and ask people if they would like a book - some people do, but I don't and neither do a lot of people, we're "stuffers" lol, we post the brochures through and then go back a couple of days later to collect them. You'll meet some people who aren't interested, but they're usually polite in telling you so, and you'll get some people who absolutely love avon and are thrilled to get a book!

In the beginning it'll be hard work - while you get used to how to do everything, and while you build up your customer base. Once the first few campaigns are over it gets so much easier - you'll be a lot quicker at sorting & bagging your delivery for one thing (took me ages the first time now its half the time for double the amount of stuff!).

    Good luck with it :)

ah that explains it then - its most probably an area manager that signed you up. They have targets to hit, so as long as someone places a first order of £78 they aren't usually bothered about how successful / long staying you are! Some are lovely, but on the whole thats what most asms are like, my old one certainly was. My new one is much better though :)

She even told me not to register self employed - its just like doing the catalogue!!!!! NEVER see her or hear from her unless theres a problem either way... and cos i didnt sign up as an SL when she was bugging me too i think shes got the hump with me!:rotfl:

Should be interesting when i go the PC dinner with her in a week or so! :p

Haha yeah my old asm said to someone when she was showing me how to do an appointment - its cash in hand!!!!!!!!!! Poor rep read through the paperwork and rang me up later to ask why does it it say to register as self employed then! Poor woman, I had to explain and of course it made me look bad as well as the stupid asm!
