Just got a £34 order posted through my letterbox but two of the items I have in my Avon box....:D, and will still give them a free gift for order over £10.

If the purpose of the other thread is just to promote local reps so people can purchase or join , and generally promote the company then it appears it would/could be in breach of site rules.

Thanks, OGF; appreciate your input. It would seem from your research then that the Poll should be fine.

The purpose of the Poll is not actually to try and promote anything (other than Avon I guess, which it seems is already allowed otherwise MSE wouldn't have allowed any of these five Avon Hints and Tips threads).

We're like a 'big family' on here (unlike some other threads, which I have a little input every now and then but am sometimes very surprised at the tone of some of the answers - some very close to abuse in my book ) and it's interesting to see 'where the family lives'. The strength of these threads is because we all help each other out and it seems a natural extension of that to to see if there's someone else near us geographically.

Least that's what I think. Anyone else any comments?

Aww, it's those little moments that just make you wonder sometimes, eh? None of us tend to know how much we're relied upon and even treasured by others.

As I've mentioned before, I've been splitting some of my customer base off to new reps local to them and in each case I've tended to give a 'bit of something' out of my treasure chest. One lady actually posted me a Thank You card (she's only a few hundred yards up the road). Not as good as yours, EB, but still a sweet gesture.

You sure you still want to give up?

i seen that lotus incentive too and have to say im not impressed!!

Im sick of ANEW freebies... i have tons of them had a feeling it would be anew stuff though OR advance techniques stuff since it was lotus shield incentive.

Couldnt it have been sample packs? or even a bumper box type thing? You know all the clearance stuff even?

i dont sell any reversalist stuff... got a box full from various bonus bags and freebies.. dont sell lipglosses either, and if it supermagnify not superextend mascara would be more helpful as my customers tend to order whatever the newest mascara is (they are released so often) and i sell about 6/7 each time and so they all ordered the supermagnify in c13 - not had an order for superextend since its launch in camp 9!

im still waiting for my utensils set from qualifying in camp 8!! heard someone has got them and they are rubbish too... so guess i might get mine with my c14 order! Some incentive eh avon! waiting 18 weeks for something i can get in the £1 shop... almost as bad as waiting 12 months from qualifying for my PC dinner from last year... or 15 months for the next one!

Hello Everyone!

I have been AWOL for a few weeks! I was having a down moment with Avon and thought i would get myself back into it, so i am now on C16 and have offered 10% off everything including the christmas book. I so far have orders of £55 but i am a little disappointed not to have picked up more new customers. Only done 1 whole street so far and 2 of my regulars havent ordered, maybe this is the problem being a trendsetter - people dont wanna think christmas in August!!!

My SL seems to be very distant too, my friend, another rep under my SL was saying the same thing, she used to talk to us on fb ALL the time, sometimes it was too much, but now, theres nothing, not even a text to remind us to put order in!!!

Anyway, think i am slipping into my downer again, not due to SL but lack of orders. Any idea how to get it back?

Could be perhaps that your SL has personal issues at the moment, or it being the summer holidays they're taking it easy to have a break as well.
